What I personally gathered from the lyrics is that it's about a girl trying to escape the memories of her childhood friend who killed herself (April), and the images of their time together when they were children still haunting her.

This song is absolute gem. First time I heard it I was just left stunned!

there's a song in every caravan palace album that does something to me and makes me feel a mixture of uncontrollable joy mixed with sadness. this song is one of them.

_God,_ the opening to this song is BADASS. I wish the whole thing maintained this level of funk. The verses are really sweet, but I just can't get past the chorus. It's abrupt, aggressive, entirely syncopated, and the muted jazz samples in the background are just _begging_ to be given more prominence. I don't suppose someone could remix this and see what they could with it? Also 1:33 reminds me of Monsters, Inc. every single time. I can't unhear it and it's great.
