Aww the little man is walking lovely, hope the caravan gets sorted asap

Hi Karen, you tube put you back in my feed yet I've been subscribed for a long time so I've been catching up. I imported my 4 berth caravan from the UK to Cyprus around 3 years as they are very rare to buy here. Unfortunately there are no caravan repair shops here so I have to try and DIY everything myself. Then I had an idea of getting in touch with a boat repair person, that didn't work as they never got back in touch. So now my steadies don't work due to the guy using them manually therefore breaking the electrical system, so I'm propped up on bricks. My 3 way fridge seems to have packed up. I remember you having to replace yours at great expense so I've bought a second hand counter top fridge for the time being. One of my windows came apart like yours has but I fixed that with double sided gorilla tape. My beautiful awning gave up like yours due to the hot sun. I'm permanently parked on one of the very few sites over here which I'm ok with as it's become my weekend retreat. I do have to be careful with power as we don't have much coming in maybe 5 amps and there are no water hookups, so I have to haul that in.

Unfortunately that is how UK caravan's were made back in the day as they did not have the tough new materials and technology that they have today. Also they weren't designed back then to be in extremely cold temperatures for a long time without being undercover and protected. I had one and it literally got worse and worse over a short period of time. So much so, i had to sell it at a fraction of the original price. Despite all the servicing and love i gave it.

Merry Christmas,it will be kept on MONDAY,as it fell,on SUNDAY,then you have BOXING DAY,not in USA WISHING YOU ALL T HEALTHY, HAPPY NEW YEAR,I see you are still having rain We had 3 days, much flooding the GALE FORCE WINDS,trucks were BANNED. IN NJF WE went downto 4 *F ,I had to run faucets to keep from freezing, I only have an electric heater in my bedroom,but it’s cold also 1 in kitchen, stay well ,take care, 🇬🇧🇳🇿🇳🇿🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hi Karen,your weather looks much like ours here in Canada ,nothing is normal, we had a very mild November ,Now in December it was a bit chilly first week down to -8c at night but low digits + during the day .nowweve got our first snow storm tenp around oc plus or minus 3c but the snow just goes on and on, it started on Friday evening and it's still snowing here on Monday evening ,total forecast is 30cms of wet heavy snow...Yuck . I hope fixing your caravan doesn't cost too much and you can cook in comfort again. Young Reese is sure growing fast next step will be the talking stage like my great grandson who amazes me every time we see him. Uk caravans of that age will probably have damp. The newer one have no wood frames. Do you ever get it serviced? How will you source new parts..

Great to see you out on the road, and things going well. A good opportunity to get all those things done and look after the caravan. There's been so much wet weather lately, a bit of a challenge without the caravan.

Our windows have just started separating too… apparently a known issue for a similar generation ‘van… so many $$$s for a new one, so we’ve stick with a glue job for now. Be interested in how yours go for repairs!

Seems a common problem for some windows to delamination. Gave only seen one other sink do that, I would say it needs to be replaced. Out of all the vans we have had the best built was a German one.

Our UK van started to fall apart just like that! We had a 620 Abby was great but with our full time travel it just wasn't up to the job. Now we have an Australian van much better for NZ.

Please consider buying a Ukrainian van. Australia and UK are wealthy countries and they don’t need your support. Please support Ukraine by buying a genuine Ukrainian caravan.

light weight caravans do fall apart quicker than solid built vans

You're fulltime camping! Get a huge raincoat and pretend you're on holiday. I had to do the same when I lived in a caravan fulltime with kids but the longdrop was across a big muddy patch. I walked along planks lol yep UK caravans aren't made for NZ roads or driving in paddocks. They rattle apart. Time to trade everything in for newer models.

Get rid of your caravan. I have seen at least 3 UK ones come apart. Australian caravans are way better built

Hi K, been watching your video’s since the tour of the U.K. and you seem to have become more unhappy since living on the land. You are also virtually a single mum. Have you thought about selling the land, buying an RV and the 3 of you living in it following Hayden’s work. Have a think, you need to do something.
