Caravan Lithium battery upgrade, no permanent mods

Upgraded the leisure battery in our Xplore 304 caravan from lead aid to a 12v Lithium battery. #offgrid caravan
Saved 13kg of payload and over doubled our off grid time in the process.
All of these changes are reversible with no cutting into wiring. only tool needed is a spanner and screwdrivers.

    What dc -dc charger did you use and how did you connect it in your caravan?

    It's a renogy dcdc30. If you look at my ac charger upgrade video you'll see it and the wiring.

    Do you have to do any others changes to the car to power the dcdc charger.or just remove the fuse and replace the charger thanks

    No changes to the car at all, just use that splitter to move the feed to the dcdc in the van and dont add the fuse which would pass power through the original route. Look out for the 2nd video in my channel on the chargers

    With your dc2dc charger you have the power from the fuse box but have you taken the negative of the battery itself

    Yes, it has a common negative for all sources.
