I think your most favourite caravan is the one at the beginning of the film SNATCH.

People who have come to Caravanning from Tents, tend to stay whatever the weather, and don’t need fully service pitches. Air conditioning etc, we’ve been ‘vanning since 1983 and moved up from several tents, we are too bothered about rain as long as it’s not 24/7 obviously, with regards to your Battery/power bank, have you never heard the phrase measure twice cut once!!! 😂

I agree. We came to caravanning ten years ago after 25 years in tents with kids. The kids got too old cool to be with us, and we got to an age where airbeds were just too low down. This was before EHU in tents and we coped with some horrendous weather here and in Europe. With a caravan we have the same mindset. We don't off-grid but serviced is just a bonus to us, and bad weather means wear a waterproof not cancel the weekend. We also never took to TV in the caravan and still prefer books, wine and conversation.

Definitely more vans over 12k motorhomes on autotrader. Some dealers adapting faster than others. Bigger vans over 3.5 tonnes like catching a falling knife. Still looking nearly bought the other day but still think more of a dip. Better weather did bring lots of sold vans but will slow down now weather poor again.

Its not global warming its climate change. One aspect of climate change is a warming of the atmosphere which is what deniers leap upon when there is 1cm of snow Barnsley or Norwich to decry what is happening. I live in North Yorkshire - 25 years ago we regularly got feet of snow we have had the odd dusting since 2010 - I live what is happening

@@thecaravanplace Thanks Mark, I hate a mystery! Having just read a review apparently they have dark wood which is seen as 'daring' and not really positively. Personally I find that odd because I bought my Elddis Affinity 574 because it had dark wood!

That class A motorhome is tiny. Our diesel pusher is 42'6" and it feels small at times.

Haven’t you noticed what’s been going on in our skies over the last few months? Today there were no trails (apart from the normal ones which dissipated immediately) and bright blue skies. Funny that!
