I actually just sprayed a little wd40 on the hub for the wheel on the left side and clicked the wheel scrolled up and down a little with it and it works fine now

its easy to open .. top cover open by --outside there are 2 side notches and one near the battery compartment .. inside board you can remove--- the 2 side notches have to be disengaged and the board has to be lifted slightly.. and the spring to the positive terminal has to be lifted from the side..

Yes. at least it worked. but for best result, the scroll must be replace with the new parts from old mouse..
