@MrFrankieFiggz 550HP is usable anytime, anywhere...the point is having it. And the "point" of an SUV...well that's debatable since 99% of them never go offroad or have anything to do with all weather or road surfaces....people like them because they're BIG and soccer moms can see over all the other cars, making them feel better about themselves.

@hsgmsj Top Gear USA should have had Adam Carolla instead of Adam Ferrara. The only host I like on Top Gear USA is Tanner Foust. The other 2 are boring.

clearly this car is meant for people who make lots of money for the car itself and for the gas it will drink like a dinosaur till they sell it. that being said it's a great car for the audience it's after.

@comlax22 tons of power is great on the road..550 HP, u can only use that on the road, therefore the M5 would be the choice. Whole point of an SUV is its great for all weather and road surface conditions, even off road. This car fails at all of them. Don't believe me? Watch the Top Gear special on this.

So your telling me the average person who can afford roughly under 100k SUVs cannot afford the gas mileage? Escalades had the best half yearly sales in 3 years and the mileage is still 13! There are other examples too! Good tech review too but I wish you would spend more time on the wheel where you can justify a shitty voice control feature.

This vehicle isn't made in Germany. It's made in Greenville, SC. I got to drive one a few days ago and I don't think it's worth $90,000. An M3 would be my choice over this. Even a used 2011 model will cost you $80,000.

Yeah, I use this car in SF as well...it's a "Swiss Army Knife," for a single parking space...NASCAR and unassuming surf car. So all hybrid drivers be sure, I tow my farting horses with this and eat, (and therefore support demand for), a ridiculous amount of McDonald's beef..I've also served the US AND competed in the olympics...Villainize me.

dude that's the 5.7L version of the engine, I've got the 4.4L in mine and despite it being an M sport engine it doesn't even have the M badgering own it because it's only reserved for the 5.7L model you're reviewing.

you would go very unhappy- the resale value alone would cause you vomit and the repairs, well if you havent taken a 2nd job to recoop the loss plan on getting a 3rd job. repairs are often and costly. main reason LR resale value is almost as low as chrysler. wait till the hydraulic lift goes after 6 months on your LR-

Usually I am a big BMW fan, but I really dislike X5, especially X5M.......and also X6. This totally destroys the purpose of SUV. It is quite uncomfortable.
