Excellent resto-mod. there is nothing like these old Big Caddy's. I feel that GM has lost the once Beautiful luxurious Look and styling to their automobiles. but seeing this ones paint and body panels left alone is just breath taking. Thanks for sharing this intricate detailed work with us.

Love the new steering wheel and rims - but, you know what?...the car would look better and be more practical if you gave it about an inch more ground clearance than factory original; but you have done a pretty tasteful resto-mod project.

A great video on how to butcher an original car. Worth less now in my mind. It may be flashy but not a restoration. You may as well be like all those that throw together another 350 with a Mustang II front end and all of the rest of the cliche stuff. Yawn.

But it is not a true restoration. It's a modification using modern parts. Restorations come in many forms, the best being a like-new-from-the-factory, using all-original parts. Like going back in time to see it brand-new on the dealer's lot. These restorations are extremely expensive, but can be well worth it in the end.

This car appears to be in good shape as it was. Should have left this Cadillac all orginal. I could see if the car was in terrible shape to resto mod it, but being in great original shape it should have been left original. Cadillac's from the fifties are far more valuable in original condition or restored to original condition rather than modified, but to each their own I guess. I hope he kept the original 365 engine and transmission out of this old caddy, so it could be rebuilt and put back in the car. I'm not at all putting down this person's work, just not the right car for a resto mod.

Meh. Some cars you can restomod and some you can’t. A ‘57 Fleetwood is one you can’t. Should have taken the money you spent and done a chalk mark frame off nut and bolt restoration. This is just disappointing. I started watching the video thinking it would be a restoration then as soon as I saw the rear end with disc brakes I said this was not what I thought.
