I've also had a horribly plugged catalytic converter cause the same issue.

I just fully rebuilt my transmission for my 95 ram and it’s still doing it

Unfortunately a lot of people don't service the transmission and it can be catastrophic

I love this video. Because I had been pretty much under the impression that if that is the symptom, revving RPMs, difficulty shifting, most likely it’s the torque converter. I had never thought that it might be the valve body. But what I’m still not sure about after this video, is why the valve body? Is it plugged up with metal debris? Is it worn out?

I got a dorman trans pan with 17 mm drain bolt for my 98 Ford e250 which has the 4r70w transmission

This just happened to me, now it won’t even do anything when put in gear. It’s 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, with original transmission so I guess it’s about time for it to go.

I have a 2010 cobalt lt automatic. And when I put it in drive it revs for a second if I press the gas and then finally gets into gear. All the rest are fine it's just the first.

Hi everyone. Got an issue with my 2013 ram 1500 2 wd tradesmen. Took it over flood rain water last week. Engine shut down air intake manifold had came out was hydro locked. Opened up the plugs cleared water. Engine back on shifts in gear but revs high to start moving. Won’t make it past a small climb/ ramp I have in my garage. Any suggestions please.

Ahhh I miss my 06 Dakota. Would’ve kept it going but the transmission kept acting up towards the end even after having it serviced. It was great while it lasted

I still have my 02 Dakota, I started changing my fluid and filter at 50-60 thousand miles & repeating around 40000 miles-so far its working, I've now got 135000 on it now and still shifts like a champ....

@@tonyjordan1320I had my grandpa’s 2nd gen that went 360,000 miles no problems. The transmission on my 06 acted up even after regular filter and fluid service, and a replaced shift module. It would throw the code but the fluid was never hot or burning. Anyway that’s all in the past.

Well uh somebody almost hit me and I floored it cause they were coming at me at 20 over and it started to take off then went into neutral and now all gears are neutral but it’s an aftermarket shifter and I think the shifter popped out of place cause I don’t hear any out of the ordinary noises and also I didn’t hear any gears crashing together or breaking when it happened.

@0:45 - I am curious if Sue hears the engine reviving when accelerating and RPMs go up; but the speed doesn't...

Yea thats what it is

What can cause a vehicle to not move when I am stopping on the pedal but when the RPMs go up to seven, it moves a little bit

Hey I got a dodge magnum 2006 3.5l nag1 transmission one morning I was driving to work in I was hearing a whinny sound check fuild it was a little low I put some in then after work driving home in it wouldn’t go at Times so I get it home change fluids and filter then it was riding back normal for bout 2 week then I get whining back again on yesterday so now I said what going on I put tester on in I get these codes gear ratio error 1st & 2nd & 4th get p0734 input/turbine speed sensor A/B correlation does this telling me that the 2 speed sensors on side of transmissions is bad ?

Can you please give me a suggestion for my 2000 Chevy van, my transmission went out while driving at 60mph, my engine was revving as i stepped on the gas, as I came to a stop i put it in park , turned off the van restarted and began shifting through gears with no response from any gear ,would not move. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

If the inside of the transmission pan still has a lot of cuttings after changing filter and oil what else could be the problem

Sooo i thought my truck had this but it was actually the fuel pump filter and bad gas at a pump

Do anybody knows if the new CTV transmissions are better or worse than regular transmission??? My believe and for what i have read is that CTV gives more issues. I was driving a nissan sentra that i rented, and it seems to be doing that symptom

I've read that you need to replace the cvt tranny fluid around 50-60 thou miles (and the filter if its external) to keep it running right and the Nissan's are notorious for bad cvt .....

Ok, so did it fix the transmission? You just left everyone hanging.

Shifting cable might need to be replace I had the same problem or the transmission fluid line could be bad check them both

Hey guys, I’ve had a similar issue with my van (2001) 3.3litr v6 I noticed that when I was driving, the van was stuttering and it seemed like it didn’t want to drive nor break and I was only going about 35-45km. I pulled to the side stoped and turned it off for about 5 mins then I started it drove normal for the first few seconds then it was stuttering again and wouldn’t go past 20-25km so then I turned it off and parked it, after leaving it turned off for awhile I started it and it cranked but then turned completely off in about 20 seconds , then the engine was stuttering and it seemed like it wanted to go but kept on stuttering the muffler was giving out some weird sounds…maybe bad fuel pump? Transmission gone bad ? ….if anyone can point me in the right direction on what to do….I would grateful appreciate it
