✅What is Vehicle Manufacturing?
Automotive manufacturing traditionally had two components: Bus, truck and vehicle body and trailer manufacturing. This includes the manufacture of specialised vehicles such as fire engines, street sweepers and emergency service vehicles.
✅How are cars made?
Originally, cars were created by a combination of machine and human power. Car parts, such as engines and rims, were manufactured in large numbers by machines. ... There is a lot more automation involved in the car manufacturing process, but human minds are still a very crucial component of the car making process.
✅Where are car parts manufactured (USA)?
Most imported auto parts are made in Mexico and other low-wage countries. So the automakers will probably pay the tariffs and pass along much of the cost.

Little bit of history for 'ya... For Mercedes it's traditional to have a woman put the star on the hood and give the hood a light stroke. Like a seal of approval. They have women working in many parts of the assembly process, but that last part - almost entirely done by women. And I like that tradition. It gives each Mercedes a bit of emotion and care. It's nice to think that when it was made, back in 2007, my E-class got the same treatment. Also mad respect for the very skilled women who do the leather interiors! Delivering perfection with every stitch. It takes a lot of skill, fine, delicate movements and patience to do the job.

To me the most fascinating part of this video is how the vehicles are built from the inside out. If anyone ever wonders why your car/truck/SUV is difficult to work on then this video will explain. And all those plastic clips! They are a onetime use- clip on but not clip off unless you want to break them.

Women have attention to detail while the men just sling the parts around. Makes me think the cars assembled by women have less defects.

Blame car designers, shareholders and planned obsolescence for that... Some cars are pre-designed with horrible faults, or just built to fail. If I had to give you examples, we'd have to sit down and have a few rounds of drinks, cause it's a long list.

Ladies should be granted to work in car assembly plants as those items involved even though are big & heavy but is all being Assisted by modern machineries/robots and required a minimum amount of energies to complete the fixings. May be in Engine installation males will be required to handle the job. Anyway is great to see how ladies can perform equally well in an assembly plant....! Greetings from the Far East....

Well there is theory and there is practise. I've been working on an assembly line for years. It wasn't at Audi, but I don't think the assembly lines of different factories will be so different. You do have machines, that are supposed to help, but they often malfunction or are even planned completely wrong and don't work in the first place. For example they build a machine, that was supposed to help us, to lift some heavy parts. The problem was, the machine was too slow. So to finish the work on time, in the end we had to lift the parts and the machine. Of course women can perfectly work on an assembly line, and we also had a lot of women working with us. I still wouldn't recommend anyone to do this work, as it's very taxing. And in videos like this they usually just show the better more chill jobs, while there are a lot of really shitty jobs somewhere else, that nobody would ever allow to film.
