Hi Mr. Birla, This video was a handy solution to the engine misfire issue I was facing with my 10 year old Etios Petrol VX model car. It's a used car and it's my first car too; so, l had no clue on what's the issue itself initially. When I identified the issue as engine misfire after watching your videos, I took my car to Toyota Services; I was informed that there is an issue with engine wiring harness which causes the misfire and it'll cost around 20k to change the entire engine wiring. This video just saved me 18k as it guided me to fix the issue by cleaning the injectors followed by skilled wiring work done by Mr. Raja referred by Venkateshwara Pump Services. I feel there is a huge difference in drivability now. Thank you for all your efforts in providing one-stop auto guidance :)

Sir, what was the problem in your car? I also got a used car. The car runs good for a while and then suddenly the pick up drops and engine goes off. Ecm scanning revealed some error regarding Knock Sensor.. Is it due to injector? How much did it cost you for injector service and ecm reset? Please help..

Hi Mr Birla sir, many thanks, as already I expect this coverage from you. Because in my VW vento comfortline model 2012 year, the fuel injector was replaced thrice until last year. Domestic oil injectors are suitable for models from 2013 only. Hence replacement cost through imported injectors is unimaginable. The price of imported injector is increasing year by year. Now it may be priced at the range of Rs.20000 (+/-). Domestic injector price is at Rs.10,000(+/-) range only. Even it is higher in the case of frequent fall outs. Yes in the case of elec filament coil burnt, no other mean, rather than replacement. So far, the dealers at their service centers simply prefer replacement. But at present, once in six months they are adding, half a litre of particular oil like liquid, in the fuel tank, to make the fuel at dilute conditon, to avoid any solid residuals in the fuel, blocking the injector. Because the dust may disturb the ele circuit to fuse out the filament. Hence the most important fact as strictly to be followed is that the vehicle should not be kept idle for longer hours after filling Diesel fuel to full tank capacity. Yes Service center technicians recommend so. Otherwise 100% sure, one has to face the worst scenario of filament fused out, at the next immediate drive. So never prefer to fill Diesel to full tank capacity, unless otherwise during must needed scenario like hill / longer driving, suspecting fuel bunk unavailability , in the middle of the travelling. Also one more important factor is that even fuel storage with lesser capacity in the tank, and if the utilisation/ usage of vehicle is not frequent, and kept idle for days, then atleast the vehicle shuld be driven for few minutes locally or engine should be run in idle condition for few minutes daily. Already the media news says that present Russia-Ukrain war would lift the fuel price dramatically. So vehicle owners, pl take care to minimize the vehicle maintenance cost.

Well said Mohan sir , We are facing a similar issue with our 2014 VW Vento Diesel Highline , we have replaced our 2 of the injectors over the last 2 years , spent around 55K , mainly because of BAD Diesel . (as they say ) . 2 more old injectors are working fine !!

Gud video sirji,, I have a swift diesel 2012 model almost 90k run n well timely maintained car which runs butter smooth n in love driving ,,,yesterday i Went to ooty hill station with 3 people n weather was cold ,, while I was started the hill climb in the morning with lot of hairpin curves, after driving with using only 2nd gear while climbing for 12km uphill ,, at one point with uphill traffic stopped n when I hit the 1st gear, there was no acceleration wen pressed hard, car was not at all moving!!! Hi Birla bro, myself using 2016 model skoda rapid diesel, my vehicle injector is Continental. My first injector failed at 36K kms, and the replacement cost is very high, I replaced for 25k. Simple reply from skoda service is failure due to fuel audeltration, but this is very awkward then skoda brand is not for indian roads. When I planned for a long trip and I done full tank. After 150kms from full tank the injector failed, in mid of the highways midnight with family it was very painful. We suffered and felt very lose by purchasing this car. Now my question is whether can we replace the Continental injector with Bosch injectors and how will be the cost factors and can we change one by one while failing or need to replace 4 at once. This Continental injectors is not serviceable that's the major heck on car owners.

In slope area/hill area // if suddenly car stops in that slope area, how can we move the car forward For example- the car stopped suddenly while moving and we applied brake so that the car should not move down/back, ok now the vehicle is stopped by handbrake, now we start the vehicle and put 1st gear and we have to release the clutch and how to take handbrake and move forward and vehicles are in the backside, we can't go back/reverse, if we release brake automatically the car moves back bcoz full down, please explain sir to move the car forward by releasing the handbrake.

First have your clutch at half position(biting point), and next release the hand brake immediately and press the accelerator simultaneously ... Your vehicle won't move backwards and no need to use your brakes in this scenario.. But u need a little bit of practice to do it.. The catch here is how well you find your half clutch position depending upon the slope...

hold brake and release clutch slowly without releasing brake, until you feel engine wobling sound or vibration on steering then you can slowly release brake so it won't go back and when you accelerate it will move forward. in top model cars you will have hill assist feature so in slope it will hold car for 2 to 3 seconds

Hi All, whatever the technician says about continental injector is not 100 percent correct. He says continental injectors are used to reduce engine noise which is wrong. Take cars like ford 1.4 tdci, skoda, duster, volkswagen. All these brands using continental injectors and the engine sound of these cars are higher than maruthi and hyundai which uses bosch. Bosch injectors are easily serviceable because they supply spare parts of the injector separately. Where as continental brand which is formerly siemens not supplying spare parts outside. Hence the whole injector need to be replaced. This issue in continental is very common and it is manufacturing defect and they didn't recall the vehicles. You can find about this complainy in many articles in team bhp and other automotive forums. Thats why ford started using bosch injector after 2014 . Model cars.

Hi birla, I am using Tata zest petrol, i changed to lpg, I am getting pickup issue in lpg and in petrol pickup seems not an issue. I checked with the mechanic and he said to change "Plug cord wires" I cross checked with the showroom and they said "Plug cord wires" are good., Not to change it. Any guess on the issue ? Do i need to check for injector (for petrol car) ? You advise will be helpful
