Car Camping Italy: San Marino, Venice, & Slovenia!
In this video I continue the road trip towards Athens. I couldn't resist stopping by the beautiful Italian city of Venice, notorious for its canals and islands as well as its ephemeral status as a sinking city.
I also visited the small country of San Marino before heading to the beautiful Slovenian mountains to start the next leg of our adventure!

Thank you that's so kind! I am currently parked in a petrol station in Bosnia but I have subscribed and will be sure to check out your videos a little later! Almost all of Italy is beautiful, but Slovenia and Bosnia will surprise you!
Some excellent footage of this most beautiful of cities and, yes, those narrow alleys can be confusing. I remember when we were there we kept emerging from the maze at the same church! Great views of the Grand Canal. Isn't the pyramidal 'tomb' of Canova weird in that baroque space? We didn't get out to the smaller islands either: I should have liked to see the glassmakers at work.

Thanks Ian! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Venice is spectacular, you really do need quite a few days there to fully experience the place, I think, because of how much is located out on small islands!

@@BritishLandeur We invested in a three day waterbus ticket. Well worth it when you revisit. You can hardly get lost on the Grand Canal.
