Y'know, no matter how impressive the Hiace is... There's just something so wonderful, beautiful, even, about something put together by one's own hands. It just can't quite compare... It might have all sorts of modern amenities and the like, but this just... Its like getting out of the city for a few days and realizing that you haven't heard the sound of silence in months. Sure, the city's great, but... Nothing can compare.

Just sharing a tip; if you want the water to boil faster, cover the pot while you boiling it. That way the heat will stay trapped in the pot so it get hotter a lot faster. So you dont need to boiling it for long and could help you use less gas.

Wellington Boots and Rubber-soles for the ladder. Also why not a mini-basket that you can hangup on the ladder ? That way, you can sit down take off the boots, shoes, or slippers and use a brush and cloth to clean and stow away the dirty footwear. Inside a nice pair of comfy house shoes or moccasins would be soft and clean. 😀
