The place shown on the plate is Marienplatz in Munich, more specifically the east side if it. The building you can see a little bit of on the left is Ludwig Beck, a premium department store, in the middle is the "Altes Rathaus" (old city hall) which now houses the toy museum and in the background is the Heiliggeistkirche (a church).

Love Gumtree I have been so lucky to find odd pieces to replace vintage china amazing when you look up the prices for replacements online. Grab as many casters as you can, I put them on pieces of wood and use them for planters it makes them so easy to move around and at that price well worth it.

You are a genius and so good at explaining things 💋

My fav was the morrocan footstoll/cushion. Beautiful!

The plate looks like Amsterdam as I can see there are tulips on the plate as well ☺️I could be wrong but the narrow house also resembles Amsterdam x

Just found you as I was thinking about going to bed, so pleased I did, I love car boot sales although there are not any good ones near where I live. The 2 best ones you need a car to get to them, but when I lived in London I went to a few and was surprised with the prices, low..loved your haul, you did really well so I have pressed the button and given a thumbs up and look forward to seeing you again

In the US especially in the South West where I’m from we pronounce it Ah Gah Vey. They do grow quickly and are absolutely gorgeous. Doesn’t need lots of water since it’s a desert plant. Loving your finds, you did a great job with a diverse mix of items for just pennies of their original prices.

Love the vase, would look fab with a big cactus in it ( I do love me a nice cactus). Great idea about the achievements, I will have to start doing that because there a weeks I feel I have done nothing. Looking forward to the trip to ikea.

Hi there Great haul, the golden art deco basket could be turned upside down and used as a lamp shade with some light filter paper or cellophane attached on the inside in different colours, giving a Tiffany look to the lamp you got with the green marble base. Just an idea, but I think it could look stunning and one of a kind if you stuck with that colour pallet. Hope you have a really good night and I'm excited to see want you come out of IKEA with. X

Although I remember going to, I cannot remember where they were. I had a couple of strokes a while ago, close together and they affected some parts of my memory so although I can remember certain things I cannot remember others. I was lucky that I wasn’t left with a drooping face or any of the other horrors that I could have faced.,I think it was the fact I was relatively young when it happened. I don’t make a fuss, my friends know me well. Whenever I forget stuff when I’m with them, I just say, that’s my leaky brain again and we have a laugh. All I do know is they would be somewhere around The Angel train station in Islington xx
