This is a fun pattern! Don't you hate how beads are such slippery lil creatures? Darn things take suicide leaps off my table all the time! haha
Very pretty, love the use of glow in the dark bb’s, easy to understand tutorial. Thank you!
Love love love your tutorials! My beads keep falling out! Driving me crazy but I will persevere! Thanks for all your great tutorials!

That is fantastic. You are a great teacher. Thank you so much for sharing. You rock!!!
Wow, this looks fantastic!!
I have truly enjoyed learning chainmaille from you. You are a great teacher and I've been able to make some projects for gifts. I'm normally a bead and clay craft person and adding chainmaille has been really fun. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your kindness, Linda! Your comment has made my day
You have some of the most coolest ideas I never knew links could do so many different things. Awesome
I never would have thought of using bbs in this way. This is brilliant! I made a couple of test chains and was not happy with the little holes showing in the beads. It is also more difficult than I expect to find calibrated no-hole beads! Thank you so much for this video and the links to the materials. I found this very inspiring.
Your tutorials are pretty awesome thanks
Wonderful 😊. This is so pretty.
I really like this a lot! Can't wait to try it with copper or gold-filled and Swarovskis.

It’s so so beautiful
Thank you
I love it !! It"s new for me . I hope can i do it.
I swear, I never knew that was chainmail, if it wasn't for the bead I've been doing that for ages with different coloured aluminium for the stuff I do for pets..like collars with a charm type thing...I use aluminium because it is so light...I don't know if you have ever seen the amount of pet bling thats in those pet shops...its got a whole aisle to itself. ..mine is more tasteful...lmao!...no mine just has an alternative twist and I use genuine semi precious (or even rough precious. ..like ruby and emerald) stones which cam either be linked to birthdays or the properties of the crystal in the healing, hedgewitchy manner). I like this one that you're doing with the beads though, its really pretty and, because I buy my stones pre-drilled, it never occurred to me to try that...nice one Yvonne you seem to have a knack of sending me off at tangents and, because of that I'm learning about things like working with leather, it all comes down to building more jewellery skills, I was limited before to using leather thongs for pendants but you have me planning a corset which is good...I may never sell a corset made by me but I'm happy having a bad-ass corset for me!..You're always an inspiration Yvonne and I thank you for that xx
Incredible
Very very good Thanks
Thank you darling
wow you helped me so much!
I really need to get a pair of bent nosed pliers, I have multiples of the others and like needle nosed pliers and crimping pliers...you name it! I don't have bent nosed pliers and they look super useful, Thanks for reminding me and I am off to watch the tutorial but I am so rubbish at chain mail its about time I had a tutorial, of course I still don't rate my chances with the bracket but t am going to try! I hoope alls well with you and yours. xx
Qué hermoso me gusta gracias bendiciones

I found some of my old copper B.B. for the little lady. She is excited!!!!
I figured what I do wrong ... Or at least one of the things I do wrong ... I am always trying to fit the biggest bead I can in the cage ... And it is usually a bicone shape ... Tanx Yvonne ... As you say we can use the tools we are comfortable with ... I use two square jaw or flat nose pliers ...
Yvonne you are very clever I shall never forget you

I think the"ring"of captive beads would be nice hanging off a Kumihimo bracelet! Also, I love the music in the background. Please tell me what it is.I really love your tutorials.Thank you kindly!
You are Greta!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
In the world of body piercing they call this style of ring a “CBR” or captive bead ring back in the late 90’s/00’s when they were a very popular jewelry choice. Nice vid thanks!
Wow
Hey I would love to see how you make your chainmail links? Thanks so much!

Hi Von! This looks so pretty. I've also noticed recently that you don't use your chain nose pliers anymore. I was just wondering why that was?
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your videos! You always explain everything so well and I always feel very confident when I sit down and try to recreate something I learned from you by your tutorials. I do have one question... Do you sell your jump rings by chance? I can never find a good enough quality when I try to purchase them. Thanks again for all you do! Hugs

Good morning! Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comment! I am really glad that I can be helpful to you :) I used to coil and cut my own rings, but I haven't been able to get more wire of the same quality I was used to, so I have been buying my rings from Chainmail Joe; amzn.to/2ogcysy I can't tell the difference between his rings and my own, and his pricing is wonderful :)
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
You mentioned you make your own rings, where would you recommend getting the bright aluminum wire to do that?
I have tried a couple times to check out your patreon page. Doesn't seem to be working. Maybe its just me? Thanks again for sharing. Great video.
Hi Yvonne may I ask ware did you get you're beads from please
Hi There!!! Question, on this captive bead bracelet, do you find that some of these beads tend to fall out? I don't know how many I have made, an every one some of the beads fell off, I finally gave up on it, an I love this bracelet , it's beautiful.

Same thing has happened to my pieces as well.
Nice work how do you keep it from changing colors please
Can you show us a pictorial of how you actually coil and the cut your rings possibly?
Is there a way to tell if a particular bead will work or not work? Like, does the bead have to just barely fit through the jump ring?
The link you provided is this the jump rings that you use for this bracelet. I have some in 18g 1/4 and they are not working. They are a little too small
Hi could you tell me what metal the rings are and size please I'm from uk love watching your work x
A lettering tutorial would be great!!!

Hi. I want to try doing 4mm beads with a 20g. Do you know what size rings that would fit? I really hope you can help me! Thanks.
Do you no longer sale the jump rings yourself? The link above didn't work.

Hey, Christie! Sorry, I will update the link! I don't sell my jump rings anymore, but chainmail joe on amazon is great! Here is a link to the ring size used in this video: amzn.to/2N4lmcv
You make it look so easy!! Thanks for all of the great crafts that you share! I've been hunting for the right jump rings to do chainmail with. Figuring out the correct size and thickness can be confusing. The jump rings that I have found, (from Rio), and almost purchased are 18 ga 5 mm inside and 7.3 mm outside Sterling Silver. The pack contains 50 and is $11.89 and it looks like it will take anywhere from 115-150 depending on the size or style. This seems a bit expensive b/c if I'm going to make these to sell, the total for the materials can be ~$75 and I just want to find a jump ring that is durable, will sell, and that I can get the feel of working with to begin with. Can you please give me some advice? Thank you!!!

Hey, Madeline! I would highly recommend copper, stainless steel, and aluminum. This amzn.to/2x8HNbM is a great starter kit for getting a feel for the different sizes. I hope this was helpful to you!

Do you have to use two different size jump rings or must one be slightly smaller what does AR mean?
I am having trouble finding all the different sizes. Are their several stores that you reccommend to actually get all the different sizes requested in books and with your tutorials?
Do you have a video showing how to make the rings?
I can't get the jump ring sizes right on this. what size should the jump rings be compared to the bead size?
Hello Ivonne I would like to know where on line can I purchase aluminum wires used for your beautiful jewelry. I like bright aluminum and different colors as well. Sometimes vendors don’t send packages to San Juan Puerto Rico. Laura Maldonado
If this is a 5-6 mm bead, what is the ID of the jump ring? What is the OD of the chain?
What size is the bead
It's very hard finding beads. Do you know where I can find some
Are you working with stainless steel here?
Where do you get the rings? What gauge are they?
What size beads are these? I’m using 18g 1/4 rings, but the 6mm beads are too big
I tried to make this and used the beads that you have linked but my rings were 16 gauge ¼ inch. The rings and bead are very tight. Is that how it is supposed to be? Does the gauge make that much difference? I didn't think it would. Any suggestions? Should I try rings from a different retailer? Looking at your bracelet it is very flexible. Mine is like stiff... if I pick mine up it stays in a straight line.
