1:25. My very first job when I was 15 was in Piccadilly and we used to have lunch on the roof, but am sure it wasn’t that one and we kept our clothes on! 😅. Thanks so much Time!! 😊. Btw its evening here!

Woman on left in first photo is wearing a corset. Must have made digging very difficult, but one must be fashionable.

3:21...You could always find Marshall Fields by spotting their big outdoor clocks. 5:46..Back when pretty much all men wore hats, of 1 form or another. 6:06...Aside from the pumps, that pic could've been taken today, at exactly 12:36...7:49...Dolly Parton was still just a twinkle in her daddy's eye. Future home of Dollywood. 🙏❤☺

@@kirstymackenzie2437well,not all men wore hats! I was born in 1947 so know these times - I never saw my Dad wear a hat at any time - don’t think he even owned one! And the baseball style, was, not, popular, for regular, people then like now! Maybe it’s because we didn’t live in the East US % we moved from PA in 1955 to Phoenix and I don’t remember anyone wearing a hat. I do love seeing the old, pictures of me. And their hats though. I know my maternal grandfather wore a hat only in the winter - they still lived in PA though!
