The credits theme is beautiful! I love the twist of it being a prequel, seeing how Nintendo doesn't really do the storyline route with Mario games. I also love how captain toad ditches Toadete for treasure!

Yay now I get to play Super Mario 3D World a game I just played since 2013 even though this game came out in 2014.

This game looks cool the boss fight is better than I expected

When in Treasure Tracker, it has Captain Toad, and in a minigame in 3D World, it has Captain Toad in it, Treasure Tracker's ending has in night, and in 3D World, its still night with the same trees in the background, so 3D World is the sequel to Treasure Tracker

yeah! but the weird thing is Mario and Luigi for some reason appeared to be completely muted in this game. maybe Nintendo didn't reuse Mario and Luigi's voices.

Love the tie-in to SM3DW, especially when the intro has been redone (you can tell the difference in quality between this and the original), but does anyone find it odd that Mario and Luigi are mute in this version when they clearly weren't in the original? Could Nintendo not get Charles Martinet or include his audio from the original cutscene for some odd reason, or did they purposely leave him out, since Peach and Toad(ette) share the same VA? Either way, very strange that, and it's been bugging me ever since I've noticed it.

yeah, i've noticed it too. maybe Nintendo didn't reuse Charles Martinet's portrayal as Mario and Luigi of Super Mario 3D World in this game.

and thats how the toad levels in SM3DW came to be he saw green stars and tracked them we also now know what the heck the toad brigade was doing after galaxy 2 and what happened to toadette

He must've shot by unnoticed, while Mario & friends were on Super Bell Hill, how else did they see him near World 1 Castle?? That's...my opinion anyway I though this was held BEFORE Super Mario 3D world, not after, it's a Prequel!

I generally enjoy puzzle type games and platformers so this game suits my gaming tastes. The game isn't terribly long, but it does present objects, collectibles and even time challenges on each stage so if you are a completionist the game will keep you coming back for a while. Personally I recommend the game to everyone. The camera at times can feel like it's always either too far away or too close, which is one of my only gripes with the game (other than the re-used boss fights).
