I think its fitting the difference between the Stan Lee ans Chadwick Boseman opening titles. Stan died peacefully after a long fun life and was honored this loud celebration. Chadwick died tragically young and was honored with a beautiful moment of silence.

If Stan Lee's family did see Captain Marvel (2019), they must've felt touched to see that this movie is a dedication to him and that it was also the next to last time that Stan Lee had a cameo appearance in a movie by Marvel Studios. The last movie he made a cameo appearance in for Marvel Studios was Avengers 4: Endgame (2019).

Rest in Peace Stan Lee 🙏🏼🕊💫❤️

This may sound crazy, but at the Silicon Valley Comic Con in March 2016, me and my family had all missed our chances to meet Stan Lee since he was actually there at the time as we all thought that he was too expensive to see him and/or meet him. And now, we will all never get our chances to see or meet Stan Lee ever again. 😢😢😢

Nice tribute to Stan. Wish they'd paid tribute to Steve Ditko in some way, too, though. He died in 2018, as well, and was the co-creator of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.

@Ja Two popular characters, though, especially Spidey. Plus, he won several industry awards. Even if his characters weren't popular and he didn't win any awards, he was still a long-time employee at Marvel. The least they could have done was do a "in memoriam" for him.
