I just realized that his compass that points to what one wants most, it points anywhere but North throughout the film series. But by the end, it finally points "North," towards the horizon, through the great unknown. That is what Jack wants the most by the end.

Not only children's hospital, but the one that saved his daughter. With 0 charge to the hospital. Granted, towards other children's hospitals world wide, but that's what spurred it for him, and he does it to children's whose life is miserable, to be happy for a moment

It makes the line in the first one have such a larger impact Norrington: “One good deed is not enough to save a man from a lifetime of wickedness.” Jack: “though it’s enough to condemn him.” The whole reason Jack was branded as a pirate was for going against Beckett by freeing slaves that Jack was hired to smuggle.

Honestly, POTC has everything. Good story, Humor, action, strong women and men fighting beside each other, character development and great actors. For real, I love this series so much.

The best pirate I've ever seen. Funny fact: Jack never killed someone on is own. Barbosa died with help of Will, and blackbeard was actually killed by Angelica, but she killed him because Jack gave her the wrong cup.

Actually by the logic of the cups, he didn’t give her the wrong cup, Blackbeard grabbed the wrong cup. If he had actually tried saving Angelica, Blackbeard would’ve been the one to live forever.

This is my interpretation about the Fountain of Youth He actually planned it out, he knew Blackbeard well enough that he would have try to save himself rather than saving Angelica. So what Jack did is that he deliberately told them the wrong cups so that Blackbeard would accidentally tell himself to save Angelica. I wouldn't be surprised given his track record of the "silver tongue". But that's just my interpretation, who knows that might be an accident. Also by the way he did kill people it's just that those that he killed needed preparation and manipulation of the pieces

I actually cried at the end of this. With what's going on today, I just get so angry. The greed and deception of one person in Depp's life can cause a domino effect that completely destroys such a beloved character and a phenomenal series. Captain Jack Sparrow meant so much to me, and his death was not on the silver screen. It's such a vile, corporate ending to such a pure character that it terrifies me of the world we live in, that how our vain drives can kill such intangible things as Jack Sparrow.

Johnny Depp is such an amazing actor. He became whoever he played. Jack Sparrow Mad Hatter Willy Wonka Edward Scissor Hands And so many more. He is not only fabulous but, irreplaceable.

This was so beautiful. I actually remember how I felt at each and every moment when I first saw Pirates. Captain Jack is hope, therefore immortal. He's a pirate and a good man. Thank you for doing him justice with this amazing video.

If Disney thinks they can carry on the franchise, then I must say they are wrong. Johnny Depp's portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow was what made this franchise stand out. His voice, his acting, his body language, everything, drove the franchise forward.

i wish that instead of just dying, i could sail off into the sunset horizon. instead of fading away i could have infinite adventures. discovering new lands, new treasures. meeting new companions and making wonderful memories that could last a life time and then some. i wish my life was a story that was written by somebody else. somebody who doesn't have such a bleak outlook on life. Captain Joshua James Hernandez. a legend all my own to endure through the ages into forever and more. "you know the problem with bein' the last of anythin', by and by there'll be none left at all." I hope the people who see this comment in the near and far future know that I died believing in these pirates like they were real flesh and blood. Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa, Elizabeth Swan, William Turner. each and every one of them were always real and true to me till the day i left. This is a pure reflection on his life right now, long live Captain Sparrow.

Jack Sparrow is the perfect role model. He's selfish in a way that serve's others before himself. He looks out for his friends even when they stab him in the back, he makes plans up on the fly (often the best way to plan) he lives in the moment at all times, all while being a walking contradiction. That's the magic of Captain Jack Sparrow you see, he's a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, dressed in a pirate outfit. And it's all down to Johnny Depp. Without him Jack Sparrow is not what he is.

The greatest pirate of the era

It's always great looking back at Jack's story with a different perspective, really listening to the tiny hints of his backstory in all the dialogue. Jack was always a good man. He pretended to be selfish, self serving, all sorts, but he had always done what was right. And every time he got betrayed, every time he got punished for his right acts, he kept going and doing them. Every time the situation called for it, he stepped up to the task. He started by freeing slaves, and encompassed what the idealised version of piracy was: freedom, true freedom, away from bureaucracy, corruption, backstabbing, unjust laws. It's why he wanted nothing to do with actual piracy and pirates, because he knew what really mattered

Aye depp started the franchise and by hell deserves more then anything to be the one standing till the end, captain jack sparrow isn't captain jack sparrow without johnny depp cause in a sense depp is captain jack always has been and always will till the end.

@@filipjuricki6436 you clearly missed the point, it has nothing to do with aging well or not, read it carefully and you’d see he says “there’s no pirates of the Caribbean without jack sparrow and no jack sparrow without johnny depp” part 6 was announced long ago but they fired the actor who plays jack sparrow, so basically even with a 6th movie the series is still dead after part 5🤷🏻‍♂️

Jack Sparrow is more then just a Pirate and more then just a Captain he is a Pirate a Captain a Myth a Legend he is the best Pirate EVER

HE WON!

Johnny made this character to his very core, and became one of the most iconic and remembered of all time, every time one thinks pirate, Jack Sparrow comes to mind, and to think he was just a supporting role in the very beginning, this will forever be Johnny's legacy.

8:50 was a perfect moment between jack and Barbossa, they are both legends of the seas, have seen a hell of a lot of the world and are now being hunted. It shows the respect they have for each other as well as the weird loyalty between them even though they have both tried to kill the other.

Cpt. Jack Sparrow and Barbossa is just an incredible duo. I know Johnny as Jack made this series amazing, but I also remember that moment when Barbossa sacrificed himself to save his daughter. Her: "Who am I to you? Barbossa: Treasure. I'm a grown man, but the moment he jumps down and looks into her eyes makes me cry all the time.

Johnny Depp made Pirates of the Caribbean one of the masterpieces that not even avengers can beat through his acting and overall performance that no one can replace. Legend that can't be forgotten even if last memories remain.

I still believe that the most heart-wrenching line in all the movies is Barbosa: "The world used to be a bigger place" Jack: "World's still the same. There's just less in it" Makes me want to cry every time.

i love how half of it is mostly sparrow and elizabeth scenes man they had chemistry

I’m 22 I have a brother who’s 9. Whenever he has a hard time with something I tell him “think like Jack”. It’s an easy way for him to understand to have good character, do difficult things, and see through it to the end. Works every time

damn he wasn't at the verdict so going through all his compilations on KZread just makes me soo happy n calm n satisfied. I wish he just came out of the court saying "I got a jar of dirt, I Gota jar of dirt and guess what's inside it'.

Ok serious shoutout to the editor. This video was both stunning and Nostalgic all while giving me a full roller coaster of 4 movies worth of information in a single under 15 minute video. This was outstanding, so thank you and just know that you've got talent my friend.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: The Last Pirate Captain" Sounds like a good title for the 6th Pirates of the Caribbean film. But, sadly Pirates 5 is the last time we will see Captain Jack Sparrow sail the oceans aboard The Black Pearl. Thank you Johnny Depp, for bringing the immortal Captain Jack Sparrow to life. You are the heart and soul of the franchise and you will be missed.

Johnny Depp is not a word it's a feeling a feeling that we all feel when ever we watch him as Captain Jack, Willy Wonka, Grindlewald and Madhatter

Tears in my eyes, thank you for this tribute, especially now post-trial in September 2022. All that production value, talent, beauty and skill hanging on one talent, and Disney threw it away, never to return. "Not for 300 million dollars and a million alpacas." You tell 'em, Johnny Depp.

Best character in cinematic history played by the only man who could do it justice, Johnny Depp. 🥰❤❤❤

The nostalgia i felt from this, the memories of growing up seeing all of these in theaters. Grateful for it one of many journeys I'll never forget

Brought back so many wonderful memories as a kid Jonny Depp was my idol growing up and still is, no matter what you say can change my mind this man really brought my favorite movies to life and it’s sad to see how the world has turned against him, justice for Johnny!!

Undoubtedly he is the only irreplaceable actor I've ever heard.

Elizabeth's speech was pure amazement. I got goosebumps, the screaming, the scenes, and the music you paired with it; good job mate.

I love how he dresses up in character and visits kids with cancer and stuff....thats a damn nice thing to do.
