i played risk of rain 1 at my friends house. i beat it like the most basic way and decided to see what risk of rain 2 is about. i dont even know whats going on here anymore

I’m surprised your friend never told you how different two was. They were trying to go for a whole new feel. Wizard of legend is doing the same thing this year it’s neat to make 2D games 3D instead of repeat the same gameplay loops

Captain's Diablo Strike deals absolutely devastating damage to EVERYTHING in its radius. This is effectively using an orbital strike to rocket jump. Note that if you have less than 90% hp, this will kill you instantly.

Also, by timing entering the arena with a few diablo strikes, they effectively skipped phase 1 of the final boss

There is no way the devs didn't make that jump unintentional, it's literally the perfect height to get up there

maybe the position of the toper is based on some kind of upper limit that happens to also affect this jump

@@-YELDAHnope, you can fly right over it, and too high you end up just teleporting back to the ground because you went out of bounds

Probably could’ve pulled off an instakill if you did that trick to “hold” a diablo charge too XD

Not really, one extra diablo wouldn't do any more damage because of the massive amounts of slacking Adaptive Armor from mithrix
