Here we go again! My advice: If you must have these books, wait six months after the movie is released!

Right ?!? If you have this book now you sell, or wait for the second trailer to drop when we see more of Red Hulk. But I don’t get why people fall into the hype and always buy so high

I appreciate that you cover these events that blow right by me.

That's insane, especially since it's been rumored for years and confirmed for months. Hell, McDonalds even started giving out Red Hulk toys in Happy Meals a few months back. It wasn't a Hall H surprise, so this FOMO is very interesting.

First Falcon in Cap 117 was a book that spiked, tanked, and spiked again. Why does that happen? Because people don't actually care about Sam Wilson, it was all FOMO. With Red Hulk following the same pattern, there's a pretty good chance people buying at $350 are going to lose their money in 6 months.

I sold my Hulk #1 CGC 9.4 Atomic variant during the comic boom for $250. Id like the regular cover, but wont make a move on it for a while

I bought a 9.8 variant signed for $260 tax/shipping about 6/7 months ago.

If you find anymore books that are close to their peak, that would be a cool video to watch.

I do have this Issue in a 9.6. I bought this last year.

I have a CGC 9.0 I bought for 50 dollars two years ago. This is dope!! I don’t believe that new enthusiasts are buying. I think it’s the ones that have been disappointed with the current portrayal of the Hulk .. The She-Hulk series was garbage, which didn’t help at all!

I hope Mr. Fix it is the hulk cameo in dead pool.

The "green" hulk in issue 1 is red hulk. Its colored that way to mislead the reader as part of the story. Read comics people. 1st full app in issue 1

@@latch78 The crazy part is that Red Hulk is only on the cover of #1, and it isn't till #2 where you get the full appearance. Another one of those where it is nuts that a cover buy is worth more.

I just read both issues. In #1, they are re-enacting the fight scene with the Abomination. They assume it's Green Hulk, so they imagine it is Green Hulk. They don't know it was actually Red Hulk at that point. The first actual physical appearance of Red Hulk is in issue #2.

@richardmarzec9136 it's a flashback, and he appears green in the darkness, but it's still Red Hulk in the flashback. Green Hulk wasn't on the scene. Why is that so hard for people to grasp?

Hey Swagglehaus. Have you noticed any damage to books due to shaken comic syndrome or book warped inside of the slab? I just got my first order ever sent of 6 books back. All 6 books you can tell are warped inside the slab. 5 of the 6 have damage some more than others. This is very disappointing. I'm curious if there are more people out there with issues but are not looking for it so it gets overlooked.

Nah. He's in the entire 1st issue. He may not be colored in red, but it's him.

Hulk has always been top 5 most popular characters in Marvel comics!

I loved the trailer, liked the political thriller vibe and of course, loved the final five seconds. Having said that, I will not be speculating on Red Hulk.

Cool that people are still into funny books. Red Hulk isn't a character I'm interested in. Haven't watched the trailer. Might watch whatever movie it is if the reviews are great. The Deadpool Wolverine movie sounds good though.

This is crazy FOMO considering what Captain America 25 (First Sam Wilson as Captain America) is going for IMO.

Comic collectors are so predictable. You won't be rich buying a red Hulk comic book

I think 6 month to 1 year from now you will be able pick up a Red Hulk 1 for half price. The Red Hulk is really not a very interesting character, sorry no offense to Red Hulk fans.

You want to know true value of your comics ask your lcs how much they will give you$. You will be very disappointed! Dont buy comics as an investment....be smarter.

Not a good frame of reference. Everyone knows that dealers will not give you more than 50-60% of fair market value (otherwise, how do they make a living?). If you want to know the true value of your comics, sell them directly to the public yourself, whether on Ebay or Whatnot or any other online marketplace. Or as a dealer yourself at a show. And the right comics can be a solid investment. Even with the recent comic market correction, my Hulk 181 has outperformed the S&P 500 over the past 24 years.
