When I received this alert, I thought the timeline restarted.

I remember when the first *"Iron Man"* came out in 2008, with more or less no expectations. Not surprising as everyone's eye was on *"The Dark Knight"* after the sad passing of Heath Ledger. Iron Man became a big hit and a enjoyable one at that. Captain America's first venture in the MCU might be overlooked more than the next two films but I like it. I think it's well underrated and am glad it's getting a well deserved re-evaluation.

This movie is the foundation of the MCU we know now......... but this movie is heavily underrated!

it actually sucks horribly. It is so poorly made. I am glad they got better and better with every movie made otherwise noone would care about marvel nowadays.

Red Skull has always been one of my favorite villains. He's really scary looking and is strong as Captain America. Oh yeah, the cosmic cube is a thing in Marvel comics. Thanos obtains the cosmic cube for his love Lady Death.

The First Avenger is my favorite MCU movie. Loved the first What If episode, really enjoyed it.

*WILD THEORY BUT TRUST ME , ITS DELICIOUSLY AWESOME* I think the sword Peggy wields in the last is none other than *Excalibur* , the King Arthur's one. The design was also the SIMILAR as shown in the Fate : Zero anime. That Sword was already present in the Lab when Red skull summons that Octopus from the portal/space. This means Red skull found that sword earlier and had invested his research in that Legend too coz we all know, he believes in Legends such as Odin & other Norse mythology. And there is a good chance that the sword doesn't work for evil doer/wielder. ( Just like a non-worthy being will never be able to lift Mjolnir : *just read it all* ). Therefore , it was of no use to Red skull and his minions ,but when Peggy wields it and we know she is worthy enough as Steve's.. so it's kindoff similar moment like Steve lifts Mjolnir in Endgame. ( crazy right ). So, The Excalibur senses the good in Peggy and let her use his mighty sharp blades 😂 to kill that Octopus from the space. It might be revealed in future episodes 😁. I mean it is wild and unexpectedly awesome to do this in an Animated show.

I really liked this movie, but I had hoped that Red Skull would be a recurring villain in a Captain America movie series, popping up as an evil mastermind puppetmaster here and there more often.

I have often wondered about what happened when red skull was sent through space. Who filled him in on his duties and the rules about guarding the stone? Did he have an orientation day and have to sit through loads of mind numbing training videos?

Ppl kept telling me to watch everything in order, but honestly the MCU is made so you can watch it from any point. It was really fun spotting these things going back.

The tesseract is a four-dimensional cube which is why in the sketch book it is shown as a cube inside a cube. This is the common three-space representation of the four-space cube. Since we live in three-dimensional space we can't really visualize four-dimensional space so the figure is just an approximate representation. Since the tesseract is actually a higher dimensional space, the monster that comes out of it is a higher dimensional being. This means that what we are seeing is not actually what the creature looks like in four-dimensional space but rather a three-dimensional approximation. Alister MacLean wrote Where Eagles Dare and he was a best-selling novelist who also wrote The Guns of Navarone and Ice Station Zebra which were also made into movies. Where Eagles Dare was an original screenplay that MacLean turned into a novel. He served in the military during WWII so the novels were inspired by his time in the service. The novels are excellent reads and you should be able to get them even now. I highly recommend them. Of course we won't mention the Ryan-Zola connection. It, uh, never happened. Yeah that's it. It never happened.
