He was CLEARLY not being serious, though. Especially since he's a minority and very active in the grass-level issues that affect minorities in their communities because of political inequality, and legislation not working in real life as it's written in the constitution. He was just bringing levity to the discussion so it doesn't become a long-winded political discussion, because there's not enough time in the day for that discussion to have a satisfactory outcome at a comic con. JS🤷🏽‍♀️❤

To all ladies and gents, i speak romanian and he looked so suprised because what that dude said was SO FKN WEIRD. Some sentences sounded like: "the ball fell" and "my father hates musetel(some kind of tea plant)" but the main sentence about his grandpa sounded just okay lol

Bucky over Cap (Sebastian Stan over Chris Evans) any day! There's a low key arrogance to CE that comes off in his MANY Tweets. Sebastian seems to be genuinely humble and would probably be a lot easier to talk to and get along with.

With every Romanian line, Seb jolted backwards with surprise lmaoo If the interviewer had said any more, Seb would have fallen backwards off the chair

+Anya Willis this reminds me of Sergei Brin, he's so uncompromising about Google's pullout from China, much more so than the other two executives cos he and his family were from Russia. They know what it's like when your government have too much power. I think Magneto's right about humanity's intrinsic fear of and hostility towards "others", Charles tried to managed their fear by asking the x-men to be the better men and prove they're allies not threats. But even the nicest people would eventually get tired of having to constantly prove you're not a villain, and they'd become jaded and apathetic.

Anya Willis I agree it has something to do with they never experienced an authoritarian government. They have a false sense of security, they feel what's under their government's control is under THEIR control, because they have a democracy. But what good is a democracy if you place blind trust in your government without any critical thinking? I've heard Chris Evans said a few times "if we did have people with special abilities in the real world....". I do take issues with him using abilities, potential threats as a justification for discriminatory regulations. A lot of chemistry teachers have the abilities to make a bomb, they don't. What makes people a threat is not abilities, but their actions. I think his views are also selfish, he's ok with a minority group being treated differently, placed under greater control and scrutiny, even if it means compromising our common values such as equality and civil liberties. I like Steve Rogers' character more than Bucky, but I prefer Sebastian Stan as a person over Chris Evans, his views seem more measured than Evans who's superficially diplomatic when he's answering stuff about the industry, but somewhat arrogant in his political views.

+Anya Willis I think they should be like the x-men in the early movies, they work with the government on their own terms, but they're still autonomous. They should be accountable to the public. Their mission reports should be made available to the public for transparency and scrutiny. Their protocols should be on par with the ones used in the government military. Serious error of judgement or wrong doing during missions should result in court Marshall. In this case, you can get accountability, without putting them under the control of the government. I think Steve should back down from doing global counter terrorism, this overlaps with too many government agencies, it's counter productive to do it on their own. If the governments request their help on some missions, they have the rights to pick, and mull over whether this is something they want to do, or is it some murky political conflicts. As for overseas missions, if it's a government they can deal with (I mean not some dictatorship like Assad in Syria), they should seek permission from the respective government first. If letting the government in the know would jeopardize their objective to save innocent, well, there we have the grey area fun part. I think some people think the Accords provide blanket permission that covers for all global missions, since it's ratified by over 100 countries. This is highly unlikely. No head of state in their right mind would pre approve foreign militia controlled by a panel of selective member states dropping into their country without any notice. If we're being realisitc, accords or not, they would still have to negotiate permission on a case by case basis. I think the Hulk is the only member who needs government oversight whenever he's on a mission, not because he's powerful, but because he really doesn't have the self awareness, the faculty to make decisions when he's the Hulk. Thus he's not responsible for his actions, so someone has to be responsible, and that should be the government.

I'm #TeamCap for the movie, but if I were a superhero and this is happening in real life, I probably will choose Team Iron Man. As much as I hate being told to do this but don't do that and such, I do feel like with that much power being hold by a relatively small group of people, someone or something needs to regulate these people, or at least keep an eye on how they exercise their powers. Because basically, they're all still just people and who knows when something affects them and makes them turn against the "good" side and humanity.

Sara Skcoopaleska I think that’s why Seb was so confused. The interviewer said he only remembered a few things in Romanian, right? These things clearly don’t make sense right after each other, but Seb was able to piece it together. (If someone said those two sentences to me in English, I’d look confused, and the only language I speak is English.)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the reason Sebastian reacted so surprised was the fact that the interviewer started speaking in another language he didn't know. That's why the interviewer said he only knew two lines in Romanian and then proceeded to say them. That's just my two cents

Nah, he's always surprised when people start speaking Romanian. he's from Romania, and not many people in America speak Romanian so I guess he's kinda surprised because it's a language he hasn't heard in a while.

I dont believe so but yes he mentions quite a lot about being unstable, having a lot of personal struggles and depression. He actually has a therapist so, who knows, maybe is just the fact that he had kind of a traumatic childhood

I like Anthony but he can be quite mean...

I get that too, he speaks over people most of the time, and he's a little bit too much sometimes almost just a tiny bit rude like he wants to overshadow his co workers. I like him very much anyway, I don't think he is conscious about it
