Per Marvel, Ruth (Sabra) is a freed Black Widow that is now a high ranking US Govt official. Also the movie hasn't had several reshoots. It's had ONE reshoot, and it was 22 days long, this past June.

I love The Winter Soldier feel this trailer has…almost paced like a Bourne film with crazy tension in almost every moment. I hate that this film has so many challenges…including the sociopolitical surrounding it and wish people could just take it for what it is. Sam finally gets his film and I hope it’s done well and right. I couldn’t care about the rest of it…it’s just that piece that truly interests me. Great that the guys acknowledged and discussed it…just really wish it wasn’t the case.

I just noticed Sam's buddy flying with him as the new Falcon. It's a very quick shot, but I finally caught it.

It appears they changed Sabra’s backstory in Marvel’s press release to her being a former Black Widow instead of a Mossad agent which is probably a move in the right direction.

That's probably the simplest solution because I have to imagine this movie was already filmed or being filmed last fall, so with that change they probably only have to change a couple of lines with audio instead of going in an trying to remove an entire character.

I'm really excited for this. I love Steve Rogers, one of my favorites, but when I started reading comics (2015), Sam was Cap. To finally see Sam Cap get his own film, I really hope it's good. MCU Cap films are 3 for 3 so far.

Concerning the timeline placement, my thinking is that, since Ross was newly elected as President and the cherry trees are in full bloom, this should be set in March, 2025.

Isaiah was triggered to kill Ross. I'm just happy to see Carl Lumbly in the role again. Also ... Patriot, possibly? Giancarlo Esposito as George Washington Bridge. For the longest time I had the theory he was cast as Nick Furys brother who was HYDRA, but yeah, that works, too. Liv Tyler's playing Betty again, which is cool. Harrison Ford in an MCU film. Never thought I'd see the day! To say I'm excited is an understatement: I'm AMPED!!!

So hyped for this film. Especially as its release date is the day before my birthday 😅. My mate described the vibe really well i think when she said its like Captain America/Falcon and Winter Soldier meets Top Gun. I can't help but agree with that statement so far from this one trailer. If any BTS photos are anything to go by, Ross is definitely Red Hulk. Theres a photo of Harrison in ripped up clothing that matches up with post being a Hulk.

Most people think a vapor cone means breaking the sound barrier, or is a sonic boom, etc. But that's not the case. It's just an aerodynamic pressure thing that can occur at much slower speed. But it sure does look cool.

I wonder if there might exist an under layer of untold history between Ross and Isaiah.

I would have to disagree a little bit on memorable moments the thing that surprised the hell out of me about Falcon in the Winter Soldier was how it talked about racism in America and especially the poverty that people are going through in different parts of the world out of the United States I love the deep conversation that Elijah had with Sam Wilson talking about if a black man became Captain America would would people in the United States accept it and I felt that Sam Wilson in this show is going to be seeing that up close and personal especially now because I feel just like the rest of Heroes that unfortunately got caught in the snap don't know how bad it was all of those years and we only hear glimpses about that it was terrible and horrible which is why I wish they could do a follow-up show on Disney Plus or on the big screen of what was going on when practically all of the heroes were snapped away and the world was basically going in Peril with half the population being gone and in those times I believe it pretty much made the United States government desperate that they probably made deals with people that they wouldn't normally do business with and with half of the Avengers gone probably do things that they would have perhaps detected and the government has always tolerated The Avengers because they've been working on their side but they've always found them to be a threat that they couldn't control that's why the whole segovian rule got put into place and they got it cleared until they removed it but now I'm feeling this film we're going to see firsthand exactly how Thunderbolt Ross is going to be when he becomes the Red Hulk and just what the government would get approved now that they and people will believe that Avengers can't save us from everything and with that type of scare would give the government what they need to form a new Army of defense and make Avengers obsolete

How could you do a World War Hulk trilogy? That is a great concept.

I'm curious as to what Agustin's ideal Hulk movie is. Hector brought up World War Hulk (which is the correct name, not Planet Hulk which people keep bringing up which was actually partially adapted in Thor: Ragnarok), but the context of World War Hulk relies specifically on the events leading to Planet Hulk, which are VERY different in the MCU, because Hulk chose to leave Earth rather than being kicked off Earth by the Illuminati. Personally, my ideal Hulk solo film would be a Dogs of War and Immortal Hulk movie where Bruce's DID takes center stage, with a big psychological thriller tone and a lot of Rated R Hulk violence and monster movie action set pieces like in The Incredible Hulk or Werewolf by Night. But a film such as that could easily lead into a trilogy that could potentially present a drastically different version of World War Hulk at some point.

I feel the same excitement I felt for Winter Soldier so I am hoping Sam and these characters get that same awesome story and treatment that Steve, Bucky, and others got.

Just a movie in general, I'm just hoping this will be a good, cohesive film. Like, I hope it's not all over the place. I'd also really like to see Sam Wilson really comes into his own as Captain America! One thing I am very curious about is how could he possibly take on Red Hulk without getting utterly annihilated!

The issue I see with Red Hulk: Sam would IMMEDIATELY die trying to fight him. So who can actually do it that's in the roster right now? Not Isaiah due to age and the fact he was nowhere near the level of Steve Rogers.
