I lost my father 2 months ago today and haven’t said this out loud but you triggered something, his life overshadowed mine and I feel a rebirth in his death. I can now focus on healing now that I know he is safe. So many things have changed over the last couple of weeks for the good and I’ve been feeling like this can’t be. I work with Dementia people and believe me you don't have to carry their burden, that's on you. Just have compassion as they don't realise what they are doing to you. Be thankful they are in your life still, we had a 32 yr old come into an Aged care facility to die with a brain tumour as there is no where else for them to go 😢 Much love and strength to you 🌸

The best he could imagine for me was graduating high school, but he died when I was 16. He couldn’t have imagined that I’d graduate college, but I did. And now at age 51 I finally have the chance to go back for my master’s in library science.
