I got the master bit set just about a year ago, absolutely love it! Used and abused and just as good as day 1!

Same here 1 year daily use no problems. Fantastic set am thinking about getting rid of the case and putting them on rails to save some space in box.
‘That goat head sticker is really wearing me out.’ Lol
I’ve been eyeing this set for a few months now, thanks for this review !
I love the master sets I'm going to have to look into those.
Real excited to see how these turn out to be.
Great honest review, I have there bit socket sets also and they work great but that’s probably the only purchase I’ll make with them.
You have earned a new fan for an honest review my friend. Thank you.

I bought their 3/4 breaker bar last year. It’s been good and was well priced at $60 or so (can’t remember exactly). I also got their new soft grip ratchets when they had a deal with the sockets for the house. Friend of mine got that bit set a few years back and really likes it. They’ve got some things I’m thinking about buying, but I’m trying to prioritize so I don’t blow too cash at once.
Yeah, I agree with you CP. Anymore I look for honest tool reviews that don't have a company backing them and them not controlling the end user's experiences that the company themselves don't have a clue on what everybody's experiences are which is impossible to answer straight up for everybody else. If you're going to do a review on a tool, you buy it yourself, then share what your experiences are with the tool after set amount of time using it. It's that simple.
Interesting review on Capri thanks for the input

Thanks for another honest review CP. It doesn't look like Henry was all that thrilled with the angry goat stickers either. I don't have any Capri tools myself but from what I've seen on YT they seem to be decent. They are reasonably priced. I bought and used Mac tools and had always been satisfied with them. I am not, however, going to pay Mac USA prices for made in Taiwan Mac RBRT tools. The WaveDrive wrenches are appropriately priced and will do the same job.

I actaully like my capri impact sockets more than the snap on ones. They are thinner than snap ons. Snap ons are too soft and get wallowed out pretty fast and fit sloppy. I find these arent as bad for that. Also i despise the shallow broach on a deep socket. That defeats the purpose of a deep socket imo. I like the laser etching, easier to see sizes, but they are also stamped for when that eventually wears off.
I’ve had their triple square socket kit and torque stick set for years. Daily use of them with zero problems.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT. Henry is so cute

I got a few Westling machine socket trays and they are amazing. Capri wasn't keeping much stock on hand. I got their impact sockets but not much else stuck out to me
I have both the Metric & SAE Capri thin sets, I did not know they made the larger sizes as well. I like the ones I have-- I'll pick up the larger sizes at some point. Thanks CP! lol even though that was not the point of your vid!
Nice to see Henry is doing ok
Great video CP 👍

Fisrt impressions is a good start. What I always like to know is if they hold up to rigorous work. Especially the speciality socket set. Use them hard for close to a year and then come back for an update. That’s when you will know how much you really like them. See if any break and if so you can see if they stand behind their warranty. I’m even wondering how long it takes for them to replace it and if they will give you the run around.

Great point!
I was going to buy these with there latest Deal, I’m ok with passing on them. I did comment on there page and asked when there new style flex head ratchets where coming out and they said it should be before the end of the year. I am excited about that. I have the new soft grip ratchet set and like them a lot. Thanks for the honest review and information. If a guy simply doesn’t know what he or she is looking at, you don’t know. “We don’t know, what we don’t know.”

They are the same ratchets as die hard ratchets just a heads up
I’ll admit, I might be an Astro fanboy but they’ve always made a decent tool under their own label and I never knew until a couple of years ago how much of their stuff got rebranded and sold on tool trucks. That being said, I wouldn’t touch Capri for quite a while when I noticed them marketing Astro stuff painted up like a Blue Clownwhore. All I knew was I wanted my wrenches or sockets or Impacts and they weren’t available because all the stock was going to the goat folks. Then Tekton reorganized and began offering Beautiful Taiwanese wrenches and sockets (Not the Angle Wrenches) and was beginning to sell pliers and screwdrivers comparable to US made products. I felt like Capri swooped in and stole a large part of the market from them by rebadging a bunch of stuff and offering a slightly sweeter deal and more attractive packaging. They even came out with a name from the same Greko-Roman Mythological and or Astrological bag. Now I mellowed out and have some of their stuff but I think I’ve got everything I need for a few hundred bucks. Literally everything else in their catalog can be had from 3 or 4 other companies including Astro. For the money I would go with Sunex, Tekton or even Apex owned companies.
Nice review CP!!

@cpthetooladdict thanks for the straight shot on Capri. I was about to drop some real money with them. I do disagree that Grey Pneumatic is equivalent, though. GP is the next step up from sunex/capri etc. GP has chamfered drive ends, higher quality control and every impact socket imagineable at a decent price.

@@CPthetooladdict I agree. Their warranty process used to suck. I don’t know if they still require a customer to purchase from an authorized GP dealer to get any warranty on their sockets.
I've got some of there low profile 1/2 drive impact socket there nice made
Capri warranty is not as good as most tool companies
Hate that deep broaching
Who has the better flex head impact astro or evil goat?
Still haven’t bought anything from them yet and I don’t think I’m going to now if the Customer Service is gone down
Henry is a boss 😎
Just have to take them to the grinder and make mid deeps. Then the broaching will be right.
Damn I had high hopes for adding some capri to my box but maybe not so much anymore
You got them at a good price, I had purchased this set at the regular price.

Dude, I love your videos, but if you are going to talk negative about a company can you please give us some specific examples? I’m no Capri fan boy, but I have reached out to their customer service a couple of times and always had a great experience. Maybe this has changed in the last 6 months? Try to elaborate more, as if Capri really is going downhill I’m sure myself and others will want to take our hard earned money elsewhere. With that being said, I get the whole “give free tools to influencers so they talk us up” way of marketing, but I feel like all mainstream tool companies do that now a days including Tekton, HoboFreight, Snap-on etc….

CP which swivels do you like from which company. I was thinking about the capris or the Olsa but the Olsa looks like the capris with a red collar. I'm not going to spend tool truck money cuz I'm a DIY I just need a set. I know what you're talking about I like the bottom of the sockets chamfered also.

All of those cheap swivels are pretty much the same. You hit them with a stout 1/2 inch impact and they will eventually break. I got the gearwrench set because they are cheap, and then I bought a snap on 13 and 15mm, because I use those the most at work on transmissions

Hello Fellow Toolhaulics, Friends, And Supporters of the World Famous CP THE TOOL ADDICT Featuring Mr. Chad Himself and Henry: CP, Thank you for your expert opinion on you latest Capri tool haul. Months back you raved about the Capri thin wrenches so as per your recommendations I purchased the whole complete series & so far so good. Those bit sets that are made from S2 tool steel look like a buy of the month. At this time of HYPERINFLATION everyone are grabbing for savings anyway possible. Chad, the question I have sir is IF I BREAK THIS STUFF DOES THE COMPANY WARRENTY IT OR US THIS A ONE TIME SHOT, PLEASE ADVISE ???? Chad, thanks again, terrific seeing Henry in the video. TMP from N.J. 🙏.
My capri triple squares have held up to some decent torque for sure. Pretty nice quality. I don’t like their flare nut wrenches though. Trash
If you break a long torx bit you'll be glad to have a back up 😂..too many hell no ..Tool Addicts..🔥💰🔧👍
I bought a couple capri impact sockets awhile back to replace some broken ones until mine were warrantied. I was not impressed I hate when sockets don’t have that anvil recess it is sloppy on your anvil and where’s out the anvils of you impact fast. I was surprised when you were praising capri tools on some of your previous videos because I thought they were kind of crappy quality.
How did Capri customer service and warranty go downhill? I was going to buy some things based of prior videos now I’m not sure .
