I’m from Boston I love this album but I heard nas hated it. Nas was jealous because niggas in the hoods chose this over it was written. It was written became a pop rap album most loved by white girls in the suburbs of New England while this was loved by the hood. At least here in Boston in the urban area during this time You heard this album being bumped all over Most heads didn’t like it was written. For some reasons too many radio friendly songs with a weak Dre beat nas is coming While it had some bangers yes it had some nice songs But those songs were just forgettable. The war report all had memorable hip hop tracks about the streets drugs beef and dope sick beats It was written had some boring beats and r&b With some alright havoc beats The best ones being shootout & live nigga rap & the message & watch them niggas. The rest were pretty weak for a street album it just didn’t click with the streets as much as the war report
