Awesome channel guys. I watch a lot from a different channel (won't advertise them on yours). They've been to the Cape numerous times and blah blah blah. Your trip was really refreshing covering very different aspects. At 62 with pretty bad arthritis in my lower back I doubt me and the 'Zook' will ever make the trip from Central Vic. but so enjoyed watching you guys with such an honest 'no holes barred' approach. I know you've replaced Percy but river crossings are absolute Alternator killers and as you found it's a vital cog in a rig. Strongly suggest grabbing a newy, fitting it where you have access to tools and machinery so you know it fits and works then wrap the original in something waterproof and carry it as a spare. Thanks again for some great entertainment.

2hrs 😮 Peter Jackson move over Huge effort team, good on ya Just started watching, there no way I’d walk Kalpowar crossing We saw som big salties both times I’ve stayed there, last time they were just laying to the RHS of the ford looking from the camp side We had the site just at the top of the ford and were spotlighting eyes all evening 🐊🐊🐊

Awesome trip big fella and Demi did the driving like a professional … she has come such a long way in the last year of off road driving in a manual. Slip slip slap mate that sun damage can be a bastard in later life! Love you to show us a day or two around Port Max when we are down that way from Brissy.. Cheers!

You can but alternator rebuild kits for around 100 dollars . They come with diode packs, bearings and brushes and don't take up any room to store. You can rebuild an alternator in about an hour once it's out of the car with basic tools.... much better, cheaper, quicker than ordering a new one.
Well done guys. Great to see it all again!

Legends happy new year best video to date thank you so much for sharing no b s or fluff you showed us the ups and down sorry about your car I did it not long ago my self , since gutted the interior but sound deadening water proof under my carpets so if I get water in I can quickly rip it out . Thanks agin good to see some sand groupers tackling the top end it’s my dream trip hopefully in a few years .
If you ever get the chance again like us locals do the Old Tele from North to South then you will see how mad that track is as what us locals do in the off season of Tourist time for weekend adventures.
Loved watching every single vid . So sad to see the back up co pilot depart us 😢

That sign on the most Northerly tip of Australia is relatively new. The old genuine original sign was stollen by some rubbish Tourist so you know. Well done guys soooo glad you enjoyed your adventure up the North Of FNQ.
Was only up there in august for 5 weeks, was a mint trip use couldn't have been far behind from us as we where camping at gunshot for 2 nights, the 2nd day at gunshot was when old mate at palm Creek had the accident as we where sitting at gunshot wondering why no cars are coming through, was nearly 11:00 before we seen the first lot of cars, brilliant trip, can't wait for the next trip, think we are doing NT and Kimberleys next year, bloody keen, can't come quick enough, would be good to win one off ur give-aways, 👍 cheers

Talk about edge of your seat viewing! Whoh! Absolutely thrilling! Thanks heaps for taking us along with you. Seems the best way to travel is in a convoy caravan. I wouldn't do it any other way. Cheers Sarah and Keelan. PS How is the guy who was pinched between the cars healing?
Great show guys. XXL size for the shirt thanks been subed for ages.

Often the blue colour in water is copper sulphate and is used in a lot of old salt water pools like chlorine to keep the water clean. It’s almost the colour of the patina you see appear on the surface of copper in the weather.
Nolans ! That's the lowest ever I've seen the water. there is never that little island on the right side. You guys got real lucky hey.

How did the Jayco van go?
@SarahandKeelanTravels

Went well! Few issues like everyone
❤🥂
One Q: were you travelling 1km apart with the previous van (which covered the interior in dust), like you were in this convoy (no dust inside)? The 1km between vans would make a terrific difference!🤸♀️ Smart move!
@SarahandKeelanTravels
Жыл бұрын
Hey Robert! If your talking about the austrack yeah we were.. we hate dust, always have! That van had so many open points for the dust to come in these new vans don’t thank god! Thanks Robert good question
How do you protect the internal steel if you are only powder coating the external surface of the frame or are you doing it inside and out? That's one of the reasons hot dip galv is so heavy, it's full coverage.
@SarahandKeelanTravels
11 ай бұрын
It’s a normal painted chassis so that’s internal paint too, then we powder coat the outside of the chassis, this new stuff is bloody insane!
