Nice video! It has all the information that I was looking for. Did you see any AWD vehicle on the beach? I have a 2017 Nissan Murano and I didn’t have issues on the beach, even last year on the outer banks…do you think that the cape lookout sand is worst than the rest of the outer banks? Thank you!

I can't remember any but I wasn't really looking that close. Lots of trucks with campers. The sand was close to what we saw on Corola Beach but not as deep as Cape Hatteras in my opinion. It was much easier to drive on than I anticipated. I hear Davis Ferry service went out of business, so you'll have to go with another ferry service. Truly an amazing place.....ready to go back! Nice video. Seems Davis ferry service is no longer in business as of 2024 apparently Heading down in April. Really looking forward to it as it will be my first trip to CL.
