RIP Saikyomog. This video is the reason I bought Capcom vs. SNK 2 a week before graduating high school back in 2008. I used to listen to this while doing homework during that time.

Wish I owned this game. I heard from a friend that I could have downloaded a software copy of this game on my PSP which would have been awesome. I don't even remember when I first saw this video. Might have been 2 years after it was released. Which would be 2008.

Omg man I remember when I first say this video I was like who ever edited and performed these awesome combos was my brother from another mother. RIP brother, you will alwayzzz be remembered by me and your video game family.

I just love everything about this game. Even the unique way every character enters A groove.

Amazing video, man. Watching those Kyosuke A-Groove brings back some great arcade memories.

I'm really mad that they didn't release an online version for ps3 or xbox360

Nice video clip, liked how the custom combo was used well and finished off with a super. Heh I do the exact same moves that Haohmaru uses for his custom combo in this video, when I play as Haohmaru. I own this game and i have beat plenty of chalengers but you are a Virtuoso and have truly mastered the Art that is Capcom vs SMK 2

Just watched this again and i have to say i am pretty good at this game now but dammit! You are still better than i am. i can't pull a lot of those combos off while fighting people hey :(. So once again, mad song and wicked combos

How do you do the SRK motion repeatedly on the controller? I've watch some people at Evo play with a stick and they seem to do the QCF motion over and over.

Video poster claims that all combos were done in Single, VS, or Ratio modes, but for some strange reason it's showing all the stats like he was doing them in Practice mode, not to mention the C Groove bar refills instantly after using a lvl 2 super move. Great job.

I had this game for gamecube...and i aint play it in awhile but um what groove are they using to performs those combos

There were a few nice combo's in there (I like the one with eagle vs. Kyosuke, very innovative and nice that the very last hit of the super killed). There are many though where the damage for them can be quite a bit higher for some. Overall very nice though :)

Are the combos being preformed on default gamespeed? Just wondering, because at the two arcades that I go to both CvS2 machines are on different speeds(One is default, the other is a little faster). Not that it would affect the combos too much, but it wouldn't hurt to know.

a groove combos seem kinda weak. They're good i mean but Im talking about damage wise. Did the Custom combos get watered down in damage compared to SFA3?

EO stands for "easy operation" or "extreme offense" But no worries about that, since the video has nothing to do with the EO version...

Hmm. I see. I'll practice it then. Can you tell me a little about the G-END timing? How do I time it correctly? And do you know anything about EVIL RYU's METSU GO HADO (The Red Charging energy ball). Can it be charged or something? Where is it useful? Because all I can do is charge it, and then follow up with a combo like, Jumping Kick+Hard Punch+Hurricane Kick.

It is way better than any fighter nowadays......very satisfying when you hit, the moves, the play styles, character listings, "grooves" and sound effects! Might need to find an old TV!

There is no footage from the EO version. Every combo here is done with the Playstation 2 version which is CVS2, not CVS2EO.

I miss this game so much. Some of those A groove combos are just sick, the timing and precision is incredible, especially for those juggles. I'd kill to be able to pull those off. Does CvS2 still get played competitively anywhere in the world these days?
