Dreamcast and Xbox because they are sharper. In my opinion, the PS2 and GameCube versions look blurry.

dreamcast es guerrera por su hardware menor que tiene y se ve mejor que en gamecube y ps2 la versión Xbox de capcom vs Snk2 es mejor por el hardware avanzado de este

Definitely the Dreamcast version thanks to it's arcade counterpart the NAOMI hardware 🙂

Considered one of THE greatest fighting games ever and it was available on all four on the Gen Six consoles (in Japan only). Simply amazing. :)

The Xbox version supported Xbox Live and you can also save as much as 10 replays as opposed to only 4 replays in the other versions, and matches from Xbox Live could also be saved as well. Additionally, the Xbox release also fixed the GameCube version’s issue where Sagat had some minor frame buffering in some of his moves. However, the Xbox version had a minor sound bug that stops the music once a character does a Finest KO, but you can fix it by downloading the Xbox Live update that was released to patch the bug.

Oh THAT'S what's going on. Let me see if I can find that update. *EDIT:* Yeah, the title update fixes that bug. Was wondering WTF was up with that because no other version of the game has that issue.

Dreamcast version supported online play through matching service , the xbox version is the EO version with balance changes for the worse and removes roll cancels. Dreamcast hardware is naomi hardware which what the arcade version runs on. Dc is best version and basically arcade perfect

dreamcast looks the best because the naomi board was the arcade board that ran games like cvs2 mvc2 etc. The dreamcast is just a naomi board in a console.

The Dreamcast is best by far, also someone needs to translating it.

I tried the game in Flycast emulator on Ps Vita, it plays very well between 50-60 fps.

The GameCube version has Roll Cancel invincibility taken out. Nerfs on characters like Sagat, and Guile was indirectly made the best character because his charge times were reduced lol Also EO-ISM in both GameCube and Xbox

@@doblemcpollo8829 it is a mode where the C stick / right analog is flicked to perform specials. L(eft trigger) and R(ight Trigger) output normals depending on the pressure (kind of like SF1), and macros are assigned to the face buttons But the most important part is how easy specials come out

Graphically, the GameCube looks cleaner. But content/gameplay-wise, Dreamcast is my choice.

Dreamcast and GameCube ports of the game is 640 x 512 (progressive), Xbox port is 768 x 480 (progressive), PS2 port looks horrible which runs at 640 x 240 interlaced for menus and 352 x 240 interlaced for gameplay.

En la versión de xbox era un error y se corrige ese problema de sonido simplemente descargando la actualización, hay tutoriales para hacerlo salu2 👋😄

Definitivamente la de ps2 al utilizar el cable componente la calidad gráfica mejora muchísimo.

ps2 is best. the character models looks the correct height, everything looks more polished. i grew up playing the xbox port and i have so many memories of playing online... what a time. but i'd say ps2 looks the best. arcade will always be best though but on a proper crt monitor. So technically the dreamcast would probably be the best console port if played on the right monitor with the correct colors, dimensions, and resolutions.

Dreamcast has the correct frame rate and responsiveness. Xbox is close but too fast. PS2 is off. GC like all Nintendo versions of SF seems like a different game

Dreamcast la más fiel a las arcadias, la mejor. La Gamecube nada mal, gráficamente no se diferencia mucho de la DC, se ve incluso más clarita. En la Xbox, abusaron con colores más obscuros y se ven muchos cuadritos. Y la peor, la PS2 sin duda.

You can see clearly from this footage that the worst version is on the PS2 which is running @240p as opposed to every other version 640p including the Dreamcast version the textures also look lower res on the PS2 because of that

PS2 is a "more advanced" console and yet this game looks like ass on the PS2 compared to the Dreamcast version.

In terms of pure horsepower, it's the weakest between the Gamecube and Xbox. It was more powerful than the Dreamcast, but Dreamcast had it's own set of capabilities that make 2D sprites look better on it while still being able to match the quality of early PS2 3D visuals. If Dreamcast never died, who knows? It might have been able to match most of the PS2's 3D hardware capabilities if programming matured over a longer period of time instead of little under 31 months.

Worst to best PS2: Crapcom is always love to screw over PS1 and PS2 players with their fighting game ports being from subpar to unplayable. compared to the competition. Horrid 240i picture quality. Expected better. GameCube: Competent port. But GameCube controller is awful for non-Smash fighting games so it gets knocked down. Xbox/Dreamcast: It's a tie! While Dreamcast plays the game more faithfully thanks to using the same tech as the Naomi board, Xbox has better resolution and picture quality. Only downside for Dreamcast is that it's Japanese-exclusive (Gee... Thanks Crapcom...) while Xbox has a music bug while doing a Finest KO that must be fixed with an Xbox Live patch (Rushed porting?).

Xbox>Dreamcast>Gamecube>Ps2

PS2 is blurrier and it works great on this game as some of these sprites are REALLY CRAPPY.

These ugly sprites you talk about (like Haomaru and Morrigan I bet) still look ugly even at PS2.

Hibiki Takane, the worst choice for a Last Blade character to put inside this game....crap!

Vs SNK was the worst capcom crossover fighter. First off, everyone's attacks are just the same basic designs, and then it's 1v1 instead of tag team. The pocket version was fine though, for some reason

Hell nah cvs1 had great music, stage intros, stages, gameplay, and overall presentation. CvS2 has 6 grooves, and a great roster, great gameplay, a ton replayability and great music(although not as good as cvs1) with all the grooves and characters, the possibilities are endless. and svc chaos is pretty cool.
