At present there is an overflow of nurses overseas especially from keralities. The ratio of keralities in relation to other citizens or north Indians is high for example out of 7 nurses in a ward 5 or 6 nurses are malayalies. Unfortunately they will not allow like that. The English language shall be used in public That's common sense when you are in European countries. The budget the DHBs have to maintain in payments once recruited from CAP done nurses as they need to pay a higher rate than the fresh nurses who studied and did placements and also who are citizens and permanent residence in NZ. The graduation of PG course and BSC nursing course are coming up in a few months. They need to be recruited also. Who will get the priority you think. Therefore, please don't lose your current job or don't resign your current job for an opportunity in NZ. If there is a chance of maintaining your current job on leave you may do cap here and keep on applying. You may get. Furthermore you cap nurses apply in rural areas where rest homes are waiting for quality nurses. Please don't wait for DHB jobs and town area rest homes jobs. Finally please don't trust 100 % on agencies. You can talk to someone who is already in NZ either directly or through malayali groups. The cost of living is high here. Again rural areas of Australian jobs also try to get information first then step on if you are confident you can survive. Hope this may help you. Thanks

Currently Newzealand is preferring the candidates who has citizenship in Newzealand or resident visa in Newzealand. They are not preferring who has stayback visa or work visa.ie hidden policy of Newzealand Just apply to rural areas of Australia Thanks

I received my DL on 5th April and since then I am trying to get cap seat to which every college is saying they are full till 2025 January. It’s so frustrating and on top of it they have stopped with reimbursement of cap fee. Every other day I see videos on internet about how nurses are jobless even after getting the APC. So we all have gone through the whole process just for fun 😢
