Well the beauty of this one it’s road legal to use on the trails. Which is important in the uk as we don’t have vast areas to explore off road

I am just to old school that has two stroke Race, fuel in my heart soul veins And I am sure that E-bikes will have their time and place But for E-bike owners, I hope your home or business fire insurance policies, covers E-bike failure

Just like any other mode of bike, e-bikes will continue to evolve and improve over time. As for the issue of insurance coverage, it's always a good idea for e-bike owners to ensure they have appropriate coverage to protect their investment. However, it's worth noting that e-bikes are designed with safety features and undergo rigorous testing before hitting the market. So while there may be occasional failures, they are generally rare occurrences. It's all about embracing new possibilities while also taking necessary precautions, I guess over time we all see a change but me personally I like anything with 2 wheels and I probably will have a 2 stroke bike soon if I get better with my off road riding.

I'm sure you'll spook horses in the road on one of them. Great for full off road though. 👍

Oh for sure, they are fairly loud when doing 55mph. I’ve still got the bike at the minute and been using it for my short commute to work and it’s brill because i ride it in my work place lol. Great fun on the trials.

If was 3999 quid and removal battery then I would buy one

I must admit, the future of bikes does look quite fascinating and the advancements are indeed impressive. While I do appreciate the power and simplicity of old 2-stroke engines, I can't help but be intrigued by the potential of these new bikes. The technology and innovation behind them are truly remarkable. So, while I have a soft spot for the old 2-strokes, I am definitely excited to see what the future holds for these wicked bikes.

If these things were cheaper and had a much cheaper insurance braket than my mt07 id be tempted to get one as back laner\comuter bike, but currently it's priced out of my range as a run around.

I’m unsure of the rules in the USA in the uk they have a road legal version with a number plate and a off road version. Il be honest I don’t fully understand the rules in the uk, it all get complicated.

It would be classed as a motorcycle so yes. Not sire if the USA has different categories of motorcycles depending on the power like we do here.

I got one of these for whizzing to work and back and messing around on country lanes. Really good fun and a nice improvement over my old tired honda dirt bike. The way it picks up speed is just stupid and i destroy most traffic off the line except super powerful petrol bikes. Getting a solid 60 miles on average per charge and it costs under £1 from flat to full. I also really like the battery heater as im not noticing any range loss over the past few days where its been below zero in the morning compared to summer.

That's awesome to hear! It sounds like your new electric bike is a real game-changer, especially with its impressive acceleration and the convenience of getting around. @@thatbikersimon electric is the future. I certainly won't be going back to petrol it doesn't make sense for my use case and is expensive these days, it felt like the engine on my bike needed constant looking at and maintenance, with this electric bike I just have to replace brake pads and tires which will probably be a once every year sort of thing. Certainly an expensive up front cost but eliminating petrol and garage costs should claw back that difference in a couple years.
