Aaaaand we're back with another one! In today's video, Merlin and I do a fitness ride on the track, explore the short trail loop at our new farm, and do our first proper schooling session back after returning to work a few weeks ago. Oh! And Nathalie does her first proper little ride on him 😁

Merlin: my pride and joy, a 2019 bay GOV (Oldenburg) gelding with a goofy personality and lots of potential. I started him gently under saddle in 2022.

Merlin moves so nicely! The canter GoPro view on the trail was so beautiful and entertaining to watch. He has so much potential and I’m so excited to see how far he gets in his career. How tall is he? He looks so big boned, he’s quite adorable. His jump is so cute he just pops over the crossrail with his big legs and he just looks so adorable while doing it. 🥹😂

He is very big boned and still has a lot of growing to do 😂 when I measured him about 5 months ago, he was 16.3 hh. I don’t have a measuring stick, but he’s definitely filled out since then and I have a feeling he’s now about 17 hands. But in my eyes, if I don’t measure him… he’s still 16.3 😂
