for many years working night shift for Royal Mail I used that exact same stainless tea pot as part of my brew kit (you know us Brits,everything runs on tea) at home we used one in the same pattern/style but twice the size we could get 4-5 cups out of it 😇 atb Bill

HA! Gotta be careful with ramen if you’re not a MSG guy, that’s for sure! This brand boasts “no added MSG” though. I don’t suffer any short term “side effects” like some other people do, thankfully. Happy New Year Mark!

Hi Tony. I traded for it with Steve Winkelman during our Fall meetup in Kentucky. There are no manufacturer markings on it. It’s easily 100 years old though. “Sad Iron Heaters” were originally used to heat up cast iron clothes irons, then the husbands stole ‘em and used them to cook breakfast while camping. True story! There are a couple companies reintroducing them as camp stoves right now!

Sorry John.... that old stove is 100 years old! It’s called a “Sad Iron” stove, used to heat up those old cast iron irons your great grandmother used to iron clothes with. I got mine in a trade. There are some companies remaking them overseas though.
