On the fourth centenary of the canonization of Saint Philip Neri, in the presence of the provost Father Rocco Camillò, the Procurator General Father Michele Nicolis, the Apostolic Visitor Father Marco Guillen and the Commission of the Vicariate of Rome, led by Mons. Giuseppe D'Alonzo the canonical recognition of the body of Saint Philip took place.
A canonical recognition is an act of Love, devotion and tenderness to verify the state of conservation of the body and ensure the preservation of the sacred relics for posterity
