I'm a concert photographer and this is my primary lens. I do 90% of my work with it. I love this lens!
I dumped Canon after 20 years and went with Sony 16 months ago BUT I am still watching because I loved the EF 85mm f1.2L MKII.
Good review as always. Just bought the DS version and have used it for an indoor netball shoot. Looking forward to taking portraiture with this lens.
Which of the two lenses do you like best? The EF 85mm 1.4 or the RF 85 F2 Macro?
An incredible lens, I have owned this for a a few years and my bridal portraits have been mouthwatering. I love this lens. The DS version in my opinion is not worth the extra money as yo can easily apply the effect in photoshop and also you don't lose a stop of light with the standard lens as opposed to the DS version.
