Dear Roberto, from the first of your Canon R5 and R6 settings videos that I was fortunate enough to find, I was so impressed, that I made a promise to myself to take a moment to leave this comment as a humble expression of my deepest and most profound gratitude. I'm so very grateful for your taking the time to share your knowledge and expertise with these outstanding, professionally produced, and highly informative videos. I've been carefully viewing the series to prepare myself until my R5 arrived - which it finally did this morning. I've watched countless instructional R5 videos for the past month, a few of which were well done, but nothing as detailed, thorough, and clearly explained as yours. Although I'm a professional portrait photographer (and have been for over 35 years) my current camera is ten years old. As such, this technology represents a brave new world for me - and somewhat intimidating. Your videos will make my initial use and understanding of the R5 so much easier and pleasurable. I've saved the entire series so that I can view them as many times as I need to... beginning right now. My single wish is that you'd produce a similar series devoted to the video capabilities of the R5 and R6. I'm certain that others share that desire. I look forward to seeing your previous videos, and others that you'll share with us in the future. I wish you continued success and happiness in all of your professional and personal endeavors. Roberto,, your videos are worthy of much more than my humble acknowledgment. I happened to be re-watching one of the series just a little while ago when your comment notification appeared. My R5 finally arrived, and before I do any shooting with it, I’m going to watch your videos as many times as I need to, with the camera in my hands, and make settings adjustments along with you. By the way, connecting the camera to a large HD monitor, with the menus visible while you explain functions and features, was a brilliant touch - and makes the explanations so much more clear. I appreciate the effort that Canon invested in the development of the user manual, but honestly, the diagrams (especially of the various controls) is difficult for me to read, and somewhat confusing. Which is yet another reason why your series is invaluable to any level of user who owns these cameras. Canon should promote your series and make them available on their site. By the way, I happened to catch the video last night that Canon produced featuring a brief bio of your background and work. I was so very impressed by the beauty and magnitude of your art, and fascinated by the story behind how you embarked upon your career.

Roberto, thank you for making this R5/R6 camera settings video series. They are easy to follow, informative and give down-to-earth explanations for the function of each setting that you cover (which was most of them). Keep up the good work. Cheers!!!

I recently purchased the R6, and it so different to the 5D IV. Great information from Roberto about the menu system and explaining why he has changed some of the default setting. There are many videos about this out there, but this is a no-brainer. I have followed Roberto for years, he is a great photographer, educator and inspiration.

In the audio menu, you can choose auto or manual audio recording.

Are you sure DPRAW stands for Digital Portrait Raw? I thought it was Canon's Dual Pixal Raw, which always specific changes to be made to the image, such as changing bokah (slightly) and the new DPRAW would allow changes to lighting... Why does Canon have to make the terminology so confusing?

Warren Howe Hi Warren, in the video, I said DPRAW stands for Dual Pixel Raw. I even have a pop up text to make it clear. Where did you hear “Digital Portrait Raw”? Just curious.
