In this short video Matt shows you how to clean the printheads of the cartridges within your Canon Pixma MP250 inkjet printer. This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing this first. Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow within your PG-510/CL-511/PG-512/CL-513 ink cartridges, so we recommend using it sparingly with your Canon Pixma MP250.
These cleans can be performed directly from your Canon Pixma MP250 printer and do not require an attached computer/laptop.

Hmmm I wanted to know how to clear the Ink Absorber....I have had the printer for 14 years and only now it has decided to tell me I need to clear it. This didn't help for that, but it did help in telling me I need to clean my printer PROPERLY! Never been cleaned because I didn't know I had to. Can someone help please? I'm an oldie and not tech savvy

Do you happen to know how to clean the scanner bar? The part under the glass? I have an MP250 that I've used for years. I've tried replacing it with several other scanners and have never found one with color clarity quite like this, but my scans are now streaky, and I can't figure out how to get under the glass.

😭😭 thanks it worked the paper I print out were blurry in some parts now it seems like I need to get a new colour cartridge it doesn't produce the exact colours

it means your ink either ran out, or you didbt put them in properly
