Finally paired my printer to a new router following these instructions and a tip from another commenter who said they had to put their printer right next to the router. That’s when mine finally paired after 6 or 7 previous attempts. My printer was purchased around 2018.

Best printer setup video out there. In my situation I was trying to connect to a new wifi and was having trouble connecting. I had to move the printer right next to the router for it to connect.

Amazing video. Initially, I was getting an error message when I tried to DL the drivers. I spoke on the phone to CANON and they wanted to charge me to have a tech remove "suspicious files" from my MAC. I told them to go **** themselves. After looking at this video, I was able to install the software & drivers on my I-MAC, IPhone, and MacBook Pro in minutes. Thank you !

Thanks to your video I was able to get the Canon and my Mac talking to each other. My problem now is -- where did my scanned image go? With my old Canon printer, I could send images to a particular folder. Now I cannot find the images from my new 3620. Help would be appreciated.

Thank you so much! After attempting it as recommended by Canon, I received an error (something like "C000022"). I then phoned Canon (India) as recommended on their website. The gentleman told me I had "damage" to/with my IP address. ‼️He wanted to remotely access my MacBook!‼️ Of course I said "No, I only allow access to Apple". I told him I would find help on KZread as this is clearly not an IP address problem. I watched a couple of your videos before finding this correct one. THANK YOU!!!! Same here, does it work for MacBook Air ? When I click “allow” on the key chain, it will just show me connection fail.

I followed the steps to pair the printer. Blue light not blinking. 😞

Omgoodness this is stressful. When connecting with I the Mac, is the Mac on the home wifi or the canon printer wifi? I’ve tried both and still get errors. Pls help

You may have to setup again but it may be issue of the band weidth of the internet

It always fails during the install step after it says the connection is complete.

Try to download drivers from Canon website. Go to canon ij setup

Fails to explain that the data sheet with the MG3620 has a button sequence that doesn’t match the unit. His screens already had the unit on the WiFi. Worthless for an initial installation.
