Yep. I ended up connecting to the printer with a different device, and it seems to have resolved the issue.

Recently changed my wireless authentication key on my router and lost the connection to my MG3600 printer. Thank you so much, this was tthe easiest way to set upthe printer for Wifi; without installing the "Canon Network app" on my i mac. The only strange thing, i got a message in a language i could not identify; I think it ment "Settings Information has been sent"; no idea, why i got a mrssage in another language. Afterwards it was possible to acces networksettings from the printer web page, which was not possible before because the network settings did not appear.

Thank you, this helped. But I have a question I hope you can help me. When I connected to my wifi it gave me a blue check but underneath it said unsecured network. Within about two seconds, the blue checked stayed, but it said not connected… I rebooted my router. I’ve had the same printer in the past that worked fine. Any suggestions?

Will this method permanently sync the printer to your wifi router and allow all computers on the network to print things? Or is this specifically just to use the mobile app?

See that part at the end where your printer is supposed to appear. my hasn't, for the hundredth time.

I feel so stupid but still need some help. I have done exactly what you did in the video. The printer does show up in the network but says (no internet access). When I click on it it brings up 3 options, Connect, Forget and Cancel. So when I click on connect nothing happens and doesn't bring up the password or anything and the app doesn't do anything. My phone disconnects from the usual WiFi router. Are you happening to be using Mobile data?. I will try and rewatch the video anyway just to make sure. Either my printer is dodgy or the phone is dodgy. I'm using Huwaei if that makes a difference.
