I love it. I am 80+ and all those other printers you need a Wi-Fi and a lot of unnecessary stuff. Our instructor at the Senior Center recommend this for beginners or someone who is not computer tech.

EXACTLY! I figured the set up for printing hands on copies would be just as easy as this man did it. But I NEED instructions on installation with my lap top and how to copy things from the computer.

I bought one of these turkeys. I needed it while I was on the road and it functioned well and gave me no problems. However, when I went to replace the cartridges, I discovered they were twice the price of the printer. So, I simply bought a second printer.

I've had this for awhile and love it. I'm now having to change the ink cartridges,, but THE FIRST CARTRIDGE FELL DOWN AND TO THE LEFT OF THE CARTRIDGE CONTAINER~ 2 OF US CANNOT GET IT OUT. Is there a way to open the unit so I can get to the cartridge?

Hello Everything was installling just like you said and then the printer connection where everything needs connected is done but it stops and won’t go any further

Printer is working great as you showed in the video but I cannot get it to print through my computer I tried to go through settings and add a new printer but it’s not working

The complicated part is connecting the printer with your computer so that you can download and print docs sent to you via email.

New Canon PIXMAG2522 replaced a canon pixma, also. Neither were hard to connect. The PIXMA mg2522 came with ink cartridges; in working order, & paper

Sorry but it doesn't work properly. There is a series of three orange flashing lights where it shows a triangle followed by a series of flashing lights in a series of five. The computer says the cartridge is not attached but it was attached properly. I am trying to print using a new cartridge which is off-brand. Any ideas? code 2, 140, 21 shows

Ayyo you didn’t explain what the plug in with the usb is suppose to do, my pc tower doesn’t reach my printer so how am I suppose to plug in that usb into it, I’d appreciate the answer thanks, and you’re telling me I don’t have to download the software into my pc? The PG-245 gets about 180, so I am going to guess that 80-100 pages is about accurate for the starter cartridges.

there is a cd included with the printer; hwever, if you don't have a cd-rom drive, the paperwork with the printer gives you where to go for downloading it... like i had to do.

I have restarted both the printer and my computer more than twice, checked the ink cartridges to ensure they were installed correctly. I'm at a loss.

Can this print Index cards?

dont forget to close the ink cartridge bay door after loading ink the green power light will just flash at you ,lol took me about 10mins to figure out why it was not working

This printer doesnt support a chromebook or iphone traditionally. You may be able set up your PIXMA MG2522 for printing with Google Cloud Print. Please use the following link for further information regarding setting up a "classic printer": support.google.com/cloudprint/answer/1686197?rd=1

You can't anyway it doesn't have wireless connection or wifi connection thats why theres a printer cable that comes with this printer that connects only the computer and the printer.

Way too much, this is actually a terrible printer in the sense it goes through ink super fast and the ink is more expensive than the original cost of the printer. Why did I buy it? It was the only one Walmart had when I needed a color printer, and the employee even warned me about the ink issue.

Yes, install the driver set-up on any laptop. From that point on, it's plug-and-play.

I've had this printer for 2 days now and its still not working. The yellow light is flashing as if something is wrong. I've tried everything I could think of to stop it even called Tech support, no response. Help please
