Dude I’ve been shooting with Canon for years, I finally know what the front depth of field button is actually for. This video was awesome. I been trying to successfully create some focus stacking with my R6, this was a big help. Other vids didn’t explain it so well. 😎😎😎😎😎

Thanks for this video! It saved me wading through the manuals. Your recommendations for leaving some of the settings in default were helpful too. The reminder of holding down the the depth of field for at least aa couple of seconds was important. To know that the camera will not extend shooting beyond the necessary focus stacking was good advice.

Great information/demonstration as I didn't realize my R6 had this capability (as I have only had the camera for a short time). Thanks for sharing!

Hi, I am trying to use focus bracketing in my eos r6 with sigma 24mm f1.4 lens. For a landscape, I used f11 and iso 100, set the maximum number of shots to 30 but the camera was only taking 5 shoots, not more than that. Would you please explain what's going on?

Hi, the camera is smart enough to stop early if it does not need to use up all the shots. For 24mm f/11 you should only need 1 or 2 at most because the DOF is really deep. The camera used 5, which is fairly conservative :).

If you absolutely have to use flash, then you can just manually focus and take multiple photos yourself. In extreme macro shots (where the camera focus bracketing is of no use), that's what I do, hundreds of shots manually.

You should watch videos in Italian. It might help more.

@@TonghoPhotography I'm sorry but the video only shows puppets. you don't need to know English to understand that nothing about depth of field and Canon functions is explained. However, OK

@@GianmariaZanotti I begged to disagree. I covered it pretty well. I'm sorry you didn't like it.
