For me camera is for photography and I like the colors coming out of canon eos r ...colours are important in photography ..

See Shots clients will not ask what features you have in your camera , end of the day they need best image quality..no matter how much costly or features you have in your camera ..

You call yourself photographer and you don't edit the photos you provide to the clients??? What a photographer are you? I really prefer the colors on the Sony and there is absolutely nothing you can't deal with in post. This whole color science Bullsh*t matters only if you shoot in JPEG. Loser.

@@konstantinsherbetov2865 Not everyone is a professional photographer with clients but still may want some higher end gear that produces great images straight from the camera without putting in too much effort editing/ color grading every photo. Shooting raw is ideal most of the time but in some instances it is nice just shooting jpeg and still getting fairly high quality images without having to do anything or very little in post.

Excellent comparison! This is the comparison I was looking for a long time. I am not good at editing, so I would go for Canon as colours are much better and probably no need to edit.

I really feel like you can’t give the canon r all the ef lenses because you have to adapt to it. If we are bringing in adapters all camera have access to basically all lenses. For the most part

Great comparison, i'm a bit late but for the lenses point doesn't the sony camera have more. Because of the asp-c s35 ss and more 3rd-party lenses or am i very wrong here?

Tony and Chelsea Northrup did a video on color science for canon, Fuji, Nikon and Sony. So did Gerald Undone. Watch the videos. You won't be able to tell a difference. For most of us, the difference in color science is in our heads and we're just too stubborn to admit it :-)

Mole Media thanks Danny. There are definitely some drawbacks with both as you could see. The auto focus I shouldn’t have tied as I think canon is faster with it. Even with that though Sony still had more points

The best image stabilization I have tried has been digital is. If you use a wide angle lens like a 24mm it's great. If you shoot at more than 35mm, 50mm, 100mm ... it's better to do it with a stabilized lens like the 24-105.

If you are shooting video mainly and a lot of sports I would recommend the a7iii. The autofocus and video capabilities are faster and the low light is better which would be helpful for shooting indoor games! You can't go wrong with either though. I'm also deciding between the two but I mainly do photography so I think I'm going to go with the eos R. Also I would much rather have the fully articulating screen because I often am setting up shoots on my own and I need to see the focus and lighting without having to turn on the timer, take a picture, and then check to see if the lighting and focus is nailed.

Sony has more lens range . Tamron ...sigma..n and sony lens also .with out any converter

Sony A7III is far superior to Canon EOS R. The only advantage of Canon EOS R is: Build quality and Viewfinder / screen rating.

Here in canada the a7iii is 2800$ and the eos r is 2200$

mate the images which u brings looks like more than canon than sony xd as the canon have a flat colours ;d

For photography, Eos r is much better🥰
