I heard walls were suppose to be in the game cause of “wall breakers” got added… I heard they acted recruits , the wall was like 6 blocks long and the troops had to destroy it to get thru it. It said the upgrades were the same os Coc it started as wood level 1, level 2 stone they after etc… idk why they never added this it was perfect card and ideas they were with it were badass

my guess is that evo valk is going to be really good since she deals with swarms and lets the cannoneer do more damage to tanks by slowing them down

Lot of cards and spell are very effective against swarms . Usually people dont have that many swars in the decks . And if one deck is full of swarms , just playing a cards like bowler , valkyrie, baby dragon will destroy them . Every people who pay money will play the cannoneer+walkyrie ... Usually players will play Tombstone for defense , because if they dont , they wont have anything to go Against a win Condition like Hog Rider or Giants . Cycle cards can be counter easily by other cycle cards . Spell cycle is already also broken against Princess tower . If its as broken as you say , they can maybe program different Spell cycle damage against towers . But Increasing The health of the cannoneer will make it completely over broken .

@@not_me_eiue74ur good point, but if we are bringing up usage rates arguments instead of singular interaction i think I see far more minitank/tank based wincons (hog, miner, lava, golem, all giants, hoggies, battleram, ramrider, baloon, basically most of the wincons in the game) than swarm based (gy, gob barrel, skelly barrel). You can add xbow and mortar, but it still far less.

@@not_me_eiue74ur spell cycle is no longer a viable archetype except miner poison, and the only meta swarm deck is mortar evorecruits. We are in the meta of beatdown with gobgiants, giant gy, egiants. In the grand scheme of things playing cannoner is an advantage, and if more players use it it would resuscitate dead archetypes which is a win for me. Also putting skelly in front is a cool new way to play, but using swarms to tank can be dealt with just a small spell. Cannoner players should use deck that has bunch of splash, like 2 small spells or lots of splash cards, like splashyard, giant gy, hog exenado, marchernado. This game is a game of minitanks, and right now swarms and siege are at their lowest as they ever been.

It shouldn't be a draw, because even though it was the same damage, you didn't take into account the princess's tower having more health, which is also an advantage.

@@snandrew6094 Of course it does matter. If tower A loses 10% of hitpoints and tower B loses 50% then tower A wins regardless if it's absolute HP is 10 or 10 000

You see the issue is, the princess tower will get destroyed by expensive cards, but the cannoneer will get destroyed by cheap cards 💀 making low elixir decks even more valuable. The devs really love cheap decks

The problem with the canoneer is the enemy can place a 2 elixir card that can destroy your whole entire tower so noe you are forced to drop a expensive ass card so it doesn't get destroyed and the enemy ruined your cycle.

The Cannoneer should be like the Giant Cannon from CoC where it shoots through multiple enemies and knocks them back

I think the reason the cannoneer feels so underpowered is damage overspill. You almost never have one-on-one interactions like this, theres other troops you need to deal with and you’re distracting and chipping, and your tower is used for consistent damage on your side of the arena. Cannoneer might require less panic than princess when it comes to win conditions, but if you make a negative elixir trade and they are running a trash-cycle deck, they can make a little push and do BIG damage

Well, from what you actually see in terms of units, the cannon tower isn't going to be used much as it would be easy to deal with most units plus that hp drop is literally a very big deal cuz that almost 400 hp gone for just minor benefits
