That's what I liked about being an independent farmer. I could cut my crops anyway I wanted to. It looks like he had a system of opening up that patchwork field. If he's happy the rest of us should be also. Now that I'm retired I cut my lawn the way I want. Sometimes my kids just shake their heads and walk away mumbling about the old man being independent and set in his ways!
