Pro tip for ballistics gel in hot weather: set it on a piece of glass, cover it with white cloth, then rotate it so the smooth bottom is on the side for filming. Every time you rotate it, it will get smooth on the bottom again.

The intruder was armed with a handgun and fired a shot while Free and Turney hid in a closet, immediately contacting the authorities for help. Law enforcement responded to the scene, and the situation escalated into a confrontation between the intruder and the police officers in the driveway of the couple's home. An exchange of gunfire occurred, resulting in the intruder being fatally shot by one of the officers. You should add colour to the ballistic gel to see how it compresses. Maybe inject ink lines to make a three dimensional grid. It should show how the gel warps around the projectile and the point when enough energy is lost that the gel no longer tears and starts compressing

A guy who was super obsessed with Meg and jealous of Gavin being with her drove a long distance to their home and shot into it while they were hiding. The guy then sat in his car outside until the police arrived. He didn't live. (I heard different stories of that he was shot by the police and that he shot himself. I just know he didn't make it).

the ball it's not getting sucked back, it's being pushed back by the displaced mass of the gel on the furthest part from the cannon. The gel is returning to its original position (elasticity) and pushing the ball back towards the cannon direction. There is no suction, because the cavitation (low pressure region)- bubbles are gone long before the ball is still actually moving. Great footage I love cannons! :-)

It's very cool how we can see the ultra-fast pressure on the second shot wave that goes throughout the gel in a split moment when the ball hits it. If you look closer, you can see small bubbles formed inside... Just awesome footage!

3:05 For those of you who are unaware, the "T-1000" is a fictional robot from _Terminator 2,_ which was popular film back in the late 20th century. The robot was shape-shifting and made of liquid metal. When shot, the impact area rippled and reformed, with the liquid metal healing and reshaping itself almost instantly.
