Because weed prosecutions are always based on volume and not strength it has encouraged growers, dealers and even smokers to move to ever stronger strains. An analogy with alcohol would be instead of starting out drinking a pint of beer people are starting out drinking a pint of spirits. Also with illegality comes lack of education and community consumption.

Alcohol was supposed to be enjoyed in social clubs back in the days when we lived in a free country.

People should mine their own business, if people want drugs, let them. Absolutely nothing to do with anyone else.

Honestly, as long as you get it from a good and trusting source, weed is actually pretty useful. Plus it has benefits that help people.

That's not good, here in America, young people are driving high in marijuana and soo many people die by car accident.

Yea it because of the Eu law . Thats why European countrys only have gray area like in the netherlands or for personal use/growing at home. For fighting againtst kriminal networks only a full legal market like in canada can make a real impact. But growing at home and clubs are better than nothing

I know this is Germany and applies to other European holdouts as well, but Britain, too, needs to wake the h UP on cannabis, a country capable of being very STRICT and I would say Puritanical but that would be North America..........Cromwellian? No..........Britain has a tendency for rules and order and formality, but they ALSO have a tendency to appreciate REAL science, tolerance, and respecting others, compassion for those who use medical marijuana, another example. Show THAT side of Britain again, and legalize cannabis post-haste. The war on drugs is NOT going to continue as is forever. Governments around the world had better start waking up and realizing that the war on drugs is a war on human NATURE, with a supply of product that will NEVER end, not for potentially thousands of years resource-wise, if one can call drugs, which are also used for medicinal purposes, some yet perhaps unFOUND YET, etc and had been throughout civilization, both medically and recreationally. For a country so welcoming and kind, minus the far-right, Britain needs to wake UP on "weed" The EU will soon be dealing with substances like MDMA and psychedelics, etc, marijuana absolutely is not the last and this train is NOT stopping, the horn blaring louder and LOUDER every year, or less, perhaps . UN regulations included. That is all. Other countries will soon follow Germany, even if the UK REFUSES to get with the times. End, though SO MUCH MORE could be said.
