Absolutely. They treat the animal as if it’s “one of our kkkiiidddssssss!” No, it’s a DOG, it has needs separate and apart from humans. *The least you can do is respect the animal.* Would you raise a foal without any kind of respect for the needs of a horse? “We love cheesecake so let’s give “the (150 lb.) bbaaabbyy some cheesecake.” Same principle.

@@enoyreve4196 he does not kick the dog "in the gut" or hard enough to hurt them, it's just a firm touch. Don't be such a weanie ! His methods helped me a lot with my bulldog that would get very ugly for a while and killed quite a few of the neighbors ducks. I learned from Cesar how to correct the problem and it started with me ! I still dislike muscovy ducks but my dogs don't know that.

Not sure why people get pit bulls or other powerful dogs while they don’t even have time or knowledge to be the alpha. You have to be the pack leader to manage your dog and willing to spend time with the dog with so much energy. I mean look at her…she isn’t really exercising nor does she have time to run for two hours a day. These dogs need a lot of walking, better hiking or running hills. I don’t get these people. They’re selfish…

“Because the puppy is soooooo cccuuuttteee” until it weighs 150 lbs., it’s cornering the “owner” and they have a snarling, threatening “spoiled” dog lunging and snapping at the kids and them. They don’t care that it’s a DOG. It’s “our ccchhiillddddd! Oh, not a LEASH! That’s Cruel! We use a humane harness because we lllooovvveeee our dog!” USE A LEASH WITH YOUR DOG NO MATTER WHAT IT’S SIZE OR BREED. Put in the time and train your dog. It’s not a person, it’s a DOG. Got it?!

A lot of attitude problems from dogs can be solved by exercise. A tired dog is a calm and happy dog. If the owners don't have time to exercise them, maybe they should have chosen low-energy dogs. Some people get big dogs just for the bragging rights of their sizes, not thinking that they can unintentionally hurt someone especially if they're not properly trained.

There’s another level to the Angelo situation…I call it cute dog syndrome. He had to be an absolutely adorable puppy and will look puppy like all his life. When helping friends, I’ve given them very clear descriptions of what a big puppy-like uncontrolled dog that big could do knocking over someone fragile or a child or even someone able bodied on a surface like concrete. I stress the dog isn’t “bad” just needs consistent training. I give them ideas for exercises to help with this behavior. Fortunately, most dogs want to please their owners, so it’s nit hard to correct. Angelo might benefit from a”job” as well. Poodles are very intelligent and respond well to task oriented Ted training.

I agree, we have a poodle mix too and people outside our household actively encourage her to misbehave "because she's SO adorable" and yeah she's cute and cuddly and friendly BUT the good news for us all is us in our household *expect* her to behave a certain way. The same people trying to get her our puppy to misbehave and criticize us for "making a robot not a dog" are the same ones with dogs at the vet that bite and tear through the staff, while the staff are trying to examine them. Not our Connie, she doesn't fuss and just gives a waggy tail and the vets adore her. She's 4 1/2 months now and leash walking like a champion too. Poodles/poodle mixes are smart dogs and they pick up so easily on what they're allowed to get away with or not.

Good for you for recognizing that though! Hopefully life slows down for you and you can find a dog for you (some are hypoallergenic)

Regarding to your allergy, you could look into Reishi and nettle (only if you want). I get you, I also live through this videos as I don’t have the energy and time at the moment for a dig. Wish you all the best!

36:47 BOOM BABY! That is "I've had enough of your BS" mode / attitude that all living things know even if they don't know why! Look at her face, no hatred, no frustration just "ENOUGH!" and the dog got it!

Watching Cesar taught me how to properly walk my dog and routine schedule him I’m grateful to watch him 🎉 Also as a first responder how do you manage 3 dogs I use to be an one myself before going into med/surg nursing and I have a little one that can drive me nuts with his dirty dog syndrome 😢 Second couple with Angelo is so cute but they should have gotten a toy poodle but I’m glad they are working on him

Caesar you're amazing. I'm not a dog owner of a pitbull but I have a dear friend that has a beautiful one. He's as gentle as a giant, but he's an opportunist every time you have your back turn to him he comes to hump you and drops is powerful legs around me. She says it's a hug. As well he tugs her around and she has a terrible arm. Help because he is so beautiful could you please do a video on this

That was helpful, about Bella. I have a similar problem with my dogs, one over-excitable one who jumps her sister when they get excited, bugs the older male dogs, and generally gets too rowdy. Now I know how to handle it better.

I had a dog with a redirected aggression problem while I was walking him past other dogs. I wouldnt allow it to attack the other dog, but it would bite me on the knees. I made some adjustments such as using a muzzle on him and walking with a loose leash. Eventually he was ok walking past other dogs without getting excited.
