People complain about the ref when Angulo was taking a one sided beating by then like Pac vs Margarito and all the energy was sapped from his punches. Angulo was upset over the fight being stopped based on pride but taking 3 more rounds of unnecessary punishment could result in long term damage.

Canelo took this fight as a tune up after losing to Mayweather and Canelo losing to Bivol is nothing to be ashamed about he went up 2 weight classes to fight Bivol …..that would be like asking Bivol to fight a cruiserweight or a heavyweight bet he wouldn’t and Canelo is small for the 160lbs division him unifying the belts in about 11 months beating undefeated champions is impressive

You tripping tony weeks saved that man from brain damage. One more punch something bad could have happened those blows to your head are no joke in the long run. There was no way in hell Angulo was gonna pull it off ref made the right decision.
