It is a big responsibility yes, but not as much as you think. Once the training is completed after they go through puberty it is engrained in their brain usually. The initial lift is a commitment, but it does ease over time.

It’s interesting because the intelligence is obvious, but the maturity has been slow. We’re approaching three years. Finally, we are seeing the changes taking place.
That's a good looking boy! I lost by corso two yrs ago. He had lots of health issues but was the best dog ever. I'm looking to get another and trying to get breeder recommendations. Can you share where you got your boy from?

It’s always so difficult to lose a pet. The feeling never goes away. Eventually, we just figure out how to process it and appreciate the great memories. I will ask breeder if they are okay with publishing their info. Thanks for your comment.
